Ravioli of fun! - The class was so much fun. Step by step instructions, and very tasty. Best cooking class I have ever taken, besides my pizza class at the same place. Can’t wait to make my one ravioli at home.

Great experience, wonderful way to spend a rainy morning - We booked this last-minute when we realized we'd have a rainy day in Sorrento. It was great! It was so fun to cook some of these classics. Our host (I think her name was Maria?) was great, walked us through making all the items listed in the sample menu. We got to drink wine and learn a thing or two. I have never used a pasta press before - that was a highlight!
Two things - we didn't actually make tiramisu, we were just given some at the end. I didn't mind since I was kind of tired/full and ready to relax. Also, our driver was 20 minutes late to pick us up. I got super nervous that we were missed and wouldn't make the activity. But the group waited for us and other people were also late to arrive.
Other than that - it was great!

Family-Run Cooking Class in Sorrento - Lovely! - We would ihghly recommend this! We take a cooking class almost everywhere we go. We love to learn about a new country or region by learning how to cook local fare. This cooking class was SO FUN. We learned to make an appetizer version of Eggplant Parmesan, we architected the perfect Caprese Salad, and we learned how to make ravioli pasta. The food was pretty good, but we wish we could have learned how to make the Ravioli filling and the tiramisu dessert (which we ate but had been pre-pmade). We loved that it was clearly a family-run business: the wine is labelled for the family's restaurant, the woman running the class was assisted by her eldest son and her infant babbled / napped quietly in the kitchen. We learned a lot and we will definitely try to replicate the recipes at home. It was also great that the school provided a driver to pick us up and drop us off back at our hotel. We attended the cooking class as three adults, two teenagers, and my 7-year-old niece. Everyone had a great time. There are a few things I would change about this class: for almost $100 per person, we wish the class was smaller. Our class had 20+ people, which meant the instructor was running around trying to help everyone and no one got a lot of "one on one" time with the teacher. Additionally, this meant that cooking all of our raviolis took over an hour, so some people were done eating before many of us had even cooked our pasta. Additionally, because the class was so large, some items were pre-made in order to "get done" within the allotted time: the fried eggplant was just there waiting for us and I would have loved to learn how to prepare that, the ravioli cheese filling was pre-made and so we don't even know what ingredients go into that, and the tiramisu was pre-made. All of these little details made for a less personal, less in-depth cooking class. Finally, we were unable to communicate with the class provider on Viator's website and this was really frustrating. One member of our party was in a wheelchair and we cancelled his portion of the reservation because no one ever responded to our questions about accessibility. It turns out that this venue only has a couple of small stairs and we totally could have accommodated the wheelchair-bound member of our family, but because no one ever responded to us, we were forced to make the call to leave him at the hotel as not to potentially waste $100 if he couldn't' get into the building. It's so sad that he missed out on this really fun, unique cooking experience.

Fun time, not really a lesson. - Confusing, from pick up to drop off there was very little organization. There were a number of classes and we were seated together the. Separated after getting to know one another. Finally we began cooking, sadly, most of it was only assembly no real cooking. We did make pasta for ravioli, I just don’t feel like any of us actually learned anything new. It was fun, but not a class to actually learn to cook.

Terrible, not worth jt - We were picked up at 5:30, but didn’t start cooking until 6:45. I had to sit on a bucket next to the driver because there were no seats. We were waiting with just water until we met up with our “cooking class” instead of the pizza making class. We made eggplant rollatoni that tasted terrible (and I love eggplant!); it was precooked eggplant and all we did was roll it up with pre cut mozzarella and premade sauce. Then we made homemade cheese ravioli. The instructions were incredibly unclear and the guide was frantic and unhelpful. We didn’t learn one thing. If you cook at all, this isn’t for you. Finally, they served us our plates where we had to awkwardly bring them to the table before washing our dirty hands from cooking. We ate the mediocre raviolis and had to ask for wine. Then, after we were done the cold eggplants came out. Again, these tasted terrible. Finally they served us premade tiramisu in plastic cups before we had to wait for almost an hour for our transfer back. my suggestion is to spend the money on a nice dinner and watch a YouTube cooking class at home; better price and better taste… and maybe you might learn something!
