Fun and Food - I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this class from the beautiful setting to the friendly instructors Anna and Julia. I came away from the class with several new recipes that I can cook for family and friends. This was a fantastic way to spend the day and it was nice to meet other travelers. We all left with full tummies and a unique Sorrento experience.

One of the best... - One of the best experiences during my trip to Italy. My friend and I took the class during the off season. Therefore, the class to ourselves. The ingredients are fresh, coming directly from their garden. There's a great view of thr gulf, Mount Versuvius, and some of the coastal cities of Italy.

Hoping to do this again soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 - This was THE BEST experience. Not only do you actually learn how to make a small variety of dishes guided by an amazing chef, but you also get to hang out with people from all around the world, having fun over wine and food. This is a very recommended experience to have, 100/100, absolutely no regrets, I came back home knowing how to make proper pizza, pasta, tiramisu, etc 🤌🏼🤍 Ps: forgot to mention that they offer a Gluten Free version of the menu!! They gave us a clean space to prepare the food and cooked it separately (:

Cousin trip - Our group were cousins on an Italian trip, which was absolutely fabulous!! I love to cook so this was definitely on my bucket list in Italy, the other two really don’t care to cook much, but we’re good sports and came with me to the pasta making class. Anna and Claudia were so much fun and helpful as we made pizza dough, fettuccine pasta, gnocchi and tiramisu. Anna made Margherita pizza with the dough each student had made it was baked in her wood oven in the outdoor kitchen using olive tree wood. While we were making our pastas she had a bolognese sauce simmering, which smelled delicious! After finishing our fettuccine and gnocchi she cooked them and served them with the sauce, it was amazing. All three of us decided it was one of the top things that we did while we were in Italy for 10 days.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF OUR ITALY VACATION - My husband and I agreed that this was our favorite thing we did during our 12 days in Italy. Our class was taught by Anna, who was simply splendid. The staff were all extremely welcoming and warm, and we felt right at home. Our group contained people of all different levels of cooking expertise, and this class is suitable for all levels. Villa del Barone is stunning, and we had the most picturesque views of the coast while we cooked. Also, we were picked up/dropped off in a golf cart near our accommodation, so it was nice to not have to arrange our own transportation! If you're looking for a cooking class, look no further - this is your perfect experience!

We loved our cooking class at Chez Barone - We loved our cooking class at Chez Barone! Chef Anna was a great host and teacher. We learned a lot and the pasta, pizza and tiramisu that we made were delicious! It was our daughter’s 11th birthday on the day of our class and Chef Anna made her feel like a special helper and the group sang to her during dessert. Finally, the location of the class was on top of a beautiful hill, with gorgeous views of the sea and beyond. Highly recommend!

Chef Anna delivers - Chef Anna and her Assistance were amazing from the Prosecco greeting (Constantly being refilled) To the amazing instruction and subsequent Meal. Their hands on, step-by-step instruction were well appreciated since many cooking schools. Don’t really give you a hands-on experience truly. This definitely was! Recommend the group and the views were just an incredibly additional bonus. Don’t miss out.

Beautiful location for lunch, yes: master class, not really - The term "master class" should be taken with a healthy amount of skepticism. If you're looking for a basic cooking class in a really beautiful location, this is for you. If you're looking for a master class in how to produce high quality pizza and pasta, this doesn't fit the bill. Speaking from my experience only: 1) No sauce making at all really, beyond a very basic coverage of what has been done before you arrived: 2) No hands-on pasta cooking at all; 3) No hands-on cooking of pizza dough and the temperature of the oven did not support the information communicated in the class; 4) There was a ton of down-time as the chef and the rest of the staff were trying to catch up and there was not a lot for the participants to do other than take pictures. To be fair the location was beautiful and the chef, Anna, clearly had a ton of experience, but the class itself was rushed and better suited to people that wanted a great lunch in a beautiful place as opposed to a "master class" in how to produce great pizza and pasta.
