Positano
The origin of Positano’s name has various interpretations. The true story is shrouded in the mists of time, blending history and legend. According to myth, Positano was founded by Poseidon, the god of the sea, out of love for the nymph Pasitea.
You’ll have free time to stroll through the picturesque, romantic town center, reach the main beach, and soak in the town’s enchanting atmosphere.
Praiano and Conca dei Marini
After Positano, we’ll pass through Praiano and arrive at our second stop: Conca dei Marini – Grotta dello Smeraldo.
The Emerald Grotto is nestled in the charming bay of Conca de’ Marini. The waters inside the grotto take on a vivid green hue due to light filtration. At the entrance, a raft (5 € per person) will take you into the cavern.
Amalfi
The first Italian maritime republic, set against the serene blue of the sky and sea. We’ll stop in the main square, dedicated to Flavio Gioia, the inventor of the sea compass. You’ll have free time to explore the town center, dominated by the Duomo, which is also renowned for its cloister and museum.
Ravello
Ravello is situated about 300 meters above sea level, a delightful little town where you can visit the Cathedral of St. Pantaleone and the medieval Villa Rufolo, known for its breathtaking views that have inspired many artists, including Richard Wagner.
