Would give more than 5 stars if possible! - If you want to experience lemons in Sorrento, look no further. We traveled to Sorrento for our honeymoon and wanted to experience the culture and food, including pizza and lemons. For the lemon part, we wanted to really see and learn about the lemons in Sorrento, so when we read the description for this tour, we decided to check it out and it exceeded our expectations. Rita took us to her farm where she and her father showed us the work they and their family have done for generations. We started the tour sipping fresh lemonade and having lemon slices with sugar all while taking in the views of the Gulf of Naples, surrounded by lemon and olive trees. Rita took us on a tour explaining the life cycle of the lemon trees and citrus they grow, seeing the different “mother” trees, the growing of root stocks, and the different stages each plant takes in its journey to producing lemons. Rita’s father then shows you the traditional grafting process used to reproduce the lemons. The walking part of the tour ends with seeing the mature trees in the hand made pergolas protecting the plants. The experience ends with a sampling of limoncellos and the opportunity to buy products they make (I recommend taking advantage of this for buying authentic gifts for yourself or others back home). The added bonus of this tour are the breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples. Even the drive to the farm is beautiful. But what made this a special tour is the hospitality from Rita and her family that immerses you in the real culture of the region. If you’re interested in learning about lemons and want to truly experience the culture, this is the tour for you. Note: Make sure to select the private service option if you don’t plan on getting a ride directly there.

A refreshing, personal, non-touristy experience - Forget the crowded, impersonal lemon tours! My recent visit to was a breath of fresh air (pun intended). It felt more like visiting a friend's family farm than a typical tourist attraction. Rita wasn't just knowledgeable about lemons; they were passionate. They shared personal stories about their family's history with the farm, and the unique traditions of the region. It was clear how much they cared about the land and the fruit it produced. The tour itself wasn't rushed or scripted. Rita was attentive to our questions and interests, tailoring the experience to our small group. We wandered through the fragrant lemon groves, learning about the different varieties and the intricate irrigation systems that kept the trees thriving. If you're looking for an authentic and engaging lemon farm experience, look no further. You'll leave with a newfound appreciation for these zesty fruits.

Quaint lemon grove tour - We had a wonderful afternoon touring Rita’s farm. Rita was very response and provided us local transportation. It was so fascinating to hear about the history of her family’s farm and we got to see how lemon trees are grown! She also has several other citrus trees that she grows. Very informative and highly recommend taking her tour.

Wonderful impressions around the lemon - Super nice family, in a beautiful location. I was picked up from the bus station. After a short drive there was a nice welcome with lemonade and lemons, and I was able to enjoy the wonderful surroundings. The tour with lots of information followed. It was very exciting and lovingly done. I was very enthusiastic and had a lot of fun. A must-see. The crowning glory is the tasting of jams and liqueurs. Overall, thanks to Rita and her husband, I had a perfect time. Thank you again 😀

Thanks Rita! - My wife and I were picked up by Rita and her husband at the Massa Lubrense square, which was a very easy location for us to get to. Their lemon factory was 10 minutes away, and it had gorgeous views of the coastline and Massa Lubrense. We were welcomed with delicious, fresh lemonade and some lemon snacks. Rita walked us through her farm and shared her lemon expertise. We learned about the process of lemon growing. Her husband showed the grafting technique they use. Rita and her husband were very friendly and passionate about their lemons and they made the whole thing interesting and fun. At the end, we enjoyed some limoncello and other lemon drinks, and Rita and her husband dropped us off at the marina in Massa Lubrense, which was very nice of them. We had a blast. I didn't think a lemon tour would be so fun. Thanks Rita!

Amazing lemon farm tour and tasting - This experience far exceeded our expectations and was such a fun and unique way to experience Massa Lubrense and the culture of the region. Rita is extremely knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for the work her and her family has done for 3 generations. We stayed locally and had no issues finding the meeting point in centro Massa Lubrense. Learning about the different varieties of citrus, as well as lemons specifically, was enjoyable and trying all the drinks and treats was better. We would recommend this experience for anyone staying in the region or Massa Lubrense in particular.
