- Massa Lubrense - After a fifteen minute drive along the coast road from Sorrento to Massa Lubrense, we will stop in Piazza Vescovado where we will visit the splendid Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie with the Chiaiese floor, unique in Campania. We will stop for photos in front of a breathtaking view where we will admire the beauty of the Vervece rock. - Marina della Lobra - Spiaggia e Borgo Marinaro - In spring when there are no swimmers we will visit the fishing village of Marina della Lobra. The etymology of Lobra derives from “Delubrum”, temple, with reference to the ancient cathedral located on the beach. Here we will have the opportunity to cross the entire small block of land still mostly inhabited today by fishermen, and to savor the essences and colors that these small villages offer to their visitors. During the period of Barbary incursions, control of the entire village was entrusted to the watchtower called Corva, named after the tip which, to the west, delimits the Lobra inlet. The latter, called Capo Corbo, hosts, among other things, the church of San Liberatore. In summer we will admire the village of Santa Maria della Lobra from the top of the enchanting Via del Nastro D’oro which we will walk along in its entirety admiring its beauty. - Termini - From Marina della Lobra we will go to one of the most enchanting places, S.Liberatore. After traveling along the enchanting Nastro d’oro for 20 minutes, we will reach the village of S.Maria Annunziata, outside the tourist circuits, one of the most enchanting places in the town of Massa Lubrense where we will see from afar the Castle, the Torre dei Pegni and the Palace where Gioacchino Murat took refuge. From there we can relax and enjoy a breathtaking view of Capri. Then we will go to Termini, the place where the temple of Athena was built in the past (Athena for the Greeks and Minerva for the Romans). There you can enjoy the view of Capri while tasting a lemon granita or a cold drink. Right in front of Capri, on the hill at the foot of Mount San Costanzo (330 meters above sea level), the hamlet of Termini enjoys an enviable landscape position. The origin of its name could derive from its proximity to Punta Campanella (term = end), at the end of the Sorrento Peninsula. - Monte San Costanzo - From Termini after a 5 minute drive we reach Monte San Costanzo, a truly magical place, after being able to admire a breathtaking view and the little white church of the same name from the second half of the sixteenth century founded by some local families. We are at the end of the Sorrento Peninsula. From the summit it is possible to see both the Gulf of Naples and that of Salerno. - Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi - After 15 minutes by car we will reach S.Agata sui due Golfi, so called because from this village you can admire both the Gulf of Naples and that of Salerno. The people who colonized this land were the Teleboi from Acarnania and the nearby islands near the mouth of the Achelous, the largest river in Greece and the mythical father of the Sirens. In their wanderings, they also brought with them the myth of the Sirens which they finally identified in the three islets of “Li Galli” which we will admire in all their beauty, located in front of the coast between Positano and Torca, but also visible from S. Agata . In fact, almost all sources confirm the hypothesis that the myth had made the Promontory where S.Agata stands the seat of the Sirens during their lives. - Colli di Fontanelle - We will stop in this place with a breathtaking view to admire the Gulf of Salerno with the view of Positano, the vertical town known for its colorful houses. Positano is an architectural jewel, set on the rock overlooking the sea. Clusters of colorful houses, sometimes cubic in appearance, are built on often very steep steps, which lead down to the beach, connected by alleys and long stairways. - Positano - After 30 minutes by car, we will arrive in Positano the vertical hamlet made with white houses and we stop there for One hour of shopping and enjoying the beach. - Sant’Agnello - We will end our tour, before returning to Sorrento in front of the most beautiful viewpoint on the Sorrento Peninsula: “La Marinella” in the municipality of S.Agnello. I am sure you will be enchanted by its charm.
