Amazing adventure! - Best day ever! Dario led my husband Scott and I on a tour yesterday that was interesting, invigorating and exciting. We used the e-bikes which were awesome and allowed us access to places that we might not have seen otherwise. Dario was exceptional at observing our reactions throughout the day and tailoring the tour to what we enjoyed most about the area. (The map shown is kind of what we did with some more routes indicated in the southeast.) We stuck mostly to rural roads that allowed us a more intimate look into life in this area of Sardinia. We saw life on the farm, a huge marble quarry, an amazing view of the beach from the mountain, various Nuraghi sites, biked along a old Roman road and bridge, an historic Sardinian town, olive groves and vineyards, tasted fresh-from-the-tree almonds and freshly-picked blackberries and Sardinian pears along our journey. We biked up and down Mount Tuttavista and saw incredible views. Dario was extremely supportive in teaching us how to use the bikes to our best advantage and entertained us all day with stories from his life in Sardinia, the land and the wonderful people (including his 100-year old grandfather!) and his own travels outside the country—he’s fantastic! I highly recommend this company to give you a good picture of what life is like in this amazing place—and a great workout!
