- Anopolis - A scenic loop hike that offers a striking contrast between mountainous terrain and coastal views. The trek can take approximately 5 hours and provides panoramic sights of the Libyan Sea and the White Mountains.
Starting from Anopolis, Sfakia, our journey begins at the Agia Aikaterini church. From there, we’ll commence our descent towards Loutro, Finikas, and Lykos beach. We’ll pause briefly for refreshments and a swim before resuming our ascent to Livaniana, a nearly deserted village. Our path then takes us close to the Aradena gorge as we make our way back to Anopolis via an alternate route. The adventure concludes with our return to the vehicle and the drive back to Chania.
