For the true chocoholic! - Chocolate is my drug of choice, so we had to do this tour, and it did not disappoint! Nathan was our wonderful guide. Fascinating to see the cacao pods growing and learn about its cultivation. Making our own chocolate bars was hard work but what a reward! I also had the pulled pork “burger” which was delicious and was too full for the ice cream. Indulge in this tour!

Worth it! - A bit pricey, but definitely worth it! The guides were very knowledgable and made it fun. Learned about cocoa varieties, the growing process, named a baby tree, and ate fresh pulp and beans from a cocoa pod (yummy!) in addition to making our own chocolate bars. The lunch was generous and delicious (several choices from "food truck"-like stations, including juice and dessert). Also enjoyed the gift shop!

Great experience! - Great experience! Beautiful grounds and lunch was very good!! We are happy to be taking home our made from scratch chocolate. One thing to consider is how far your hotel is since transport is not included, we were very far away and the cab was expensive.

Eat & drink here!!! Chocolate Paradise!!! - Phenomenal chocolate & cacao mixed cocktails! Best chocolate liqueur martini I have ever had. The scallops & pumpkin entree was amazing. And the lava cake to die for! We bought chocolate liqueur creams. Staff was lovely & honored our recent wedding.

My husband and I booked... - My husband and I booked this tour as one of our honeymoon activities. This tour is beautiful as the guide takes you through the agricultural cites and explains the process among all its beauty. This tour is also fun as you are able to engage in your own chocolate bar making. You’ll be in for a little pleasant surprise at the beginning, as you’ll be able to leave a little piece of you there (you’ll see what I’m talking about). Food is included, and although it is a lunch because it has protein, keep in mind it will all have chocolate touches (it was good just not what we expected).

John and Marina Made This Experience Priceless - The team at Hotel Chocolat were very accommodating. There was quite a bit of driving to get there from Gros Islet (about 2 hours of driving) and you can't drive over 40 in some parts because of the winding road and the indentations in the road. Because there was no pickup accommodations, I mention this to let the persons travelling from far know to leave very early to make it on time. We did not make it on time. When we got there (about 20 minutes past the starting time), the team went right into action to ensure we were banded and the tour guide was notified to receive us in the seederie. Checking into the tour was seamless because of the great communication they had. After we joined the group, everything was very smooth from that part. John, our tour guide, was very lovely and uplifting. He had his knowledge down to the T and also made jokes here and there. The atmosphere was very peaceful. When we got to the chocolate making part, Marina took over and she was also very good and funny and encouraging. She checked around and gave individual attention to persons who were struggling (which coincidentally turned out to be me 🤭), she kept us moving at a decent pace, and guided us to a successful completion. The other staff, persons who deal with food and drinks, were very polite, very helpful and handled their food in a vet clean fashion, which made me happy. There weren't many vegetarian options, but that may be because it was 3 in the afternoon, so maybe persons before had bought it all out. Overall, it was a really amazing experience and I did have an adventure. I left with a healthy respect for chocolate makers everywhere 🫡

St Lucia! - Absolutely love! Had a great time! Chocolate doesn’t taste like what us Americans are use to but I still enjoyed it! Would definitely do again! The food was great!

Great experience - Fantastic experience. The tour of the grounds was interesting, Tahj our guide was friendly and informative. We then had fun making our chocolate (taste was great but the experience was). Lunch was really good, lots on offer and very tasty. The only issue is getting there. Couldnt find a public transport option from Soufriere and taxis were expensive for such a short journey. I think that Hotel chocolat should offer transport to and from their location to the town.

Fun but very informative - Nathan was a wonderful tour guide. We learned so much about how chocolate is naturally made from the tree to a chocolate bar. It's more difficult than you think. If you do the full tour please dress comfortable.
