Book It! - This was a first for me and I was really excited about it. We had an amazing tour guide by the name of Nathan. The experience of learning the history of the chocolate was amazing, the forest was so beautiful, and I really enjoyed the chocolate making class. Let's not forget about the lunch, I had the wings, sweet potato fries, and mac & Cheese, everything was phenomenal. Can't wait to visit again.

Fantastic experience. Our... - Fantastic experience. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, entertaining and fun. Great balance of site seeing, learning and activities, finished off with chocolate infused drinks and food for lunch. Highly recommended as a low intensity, fun half day activity.

A must do if staying in St. Lucia!! - My wife and I did this tour (tree to bar) on our honeymoon while in St. Lucia. Absolutely fantastic! Very interesting tour! Our tour guide Nathan made it that much better, he was very knowledgeable and kept our group engaged. The tree to bar package was well worth the price in our opinion. We felt we definitely got our money’s worth from the tour, to making our own chocolate, and the lunch that was provided. I highly recommend this tour if you’re staying on the island and want a one of a kind experience!

Great fun and so interesting - John and Tahj were wonderful guides and instructors. While somewhat pricey this was an excellent experience. The tour introducing how cocoa is grown and harvested, plus the explanation of how chocolate is made was so informative. The opportunity to make chocolate from scratch was so much fun. And the lunch at the end was delicious and very good quality.

You will never look at chocolate the same way again! - The tour guide, John, promised "you will never look at chocolate the same way again" - and he was right!! The tour was so engaging and interesting, sharing some really fun and bite-sized facts about how cacao is grown, cared for and harvested. The second part of the tour was so much fun - turning some humble cacao nibs into an actual chocolate bar! This was hands-on and supported by lots information on how the process has changed over the years. The finished product was delicious too, and made a perfect treat after enjoying the fantastic food available from the food court!

fantastic tour - very enjoyable - Taj was our tour guide and he was amazing. really knowledgeable and friendly. the tour had a bit of everything - highlights were naming our own trees and eating the pulp from the fresh cocao pods. be warned there is some hard work at the end when you make your own chocolate but it is fun. there is also a short walk through the forest and i was bitten a lot - so apply plenty of mosquito spray before you start - and also suggest covering up as much as possible.

Outstanding and Phenomenal - The overall tour was phenomenal. We really enjoyed the making of the chocolate, but everything from the information of how they grow everything and how they produce it is so great.

Wonderful! - First-rate! It is possible to get misdirected with on-line booking for other "Chocolate Experiences" in Saint Lucia, but this is the one that you want. 15 minute drive from Soufriere and 5 minutes from the Caldera mud bath tourist area. This is a very classy set up with delicious lunch specialties (cocoa ingredient dishes, beverages, gorgeous open air cafe views and attentive wait staff). Enjoy beautiful botanical gardens pathways with cooling higher altitude breezes while waiting for tour/workshop. Inclusive for all ages and degrees of interest in cocoa plants and chocolate production. High end gift shop with premium local chocolate products got us half way home with our Holiday Shopping. To get the full experience in the cool mountain breeze, it helps to be able to walk several hundred meters and climb 30 or so stairs steps at relaxed pace. I think you would be kept comfortable and in good company in the restaurant cafe if this task was not possible for you. Wonderful and well worth the cost! Bravo to the staff.

NOT AIRPORT FRIENDLY - Do not buy souveniers if you have to go through the airport. They dont tell you at Project Chocolate but they will be taken!
