The best way to see El Jem - What a wonderful excursion this was and we were so pleased we chose this private tour rather than the shared tour operator bus tour. We were pucked up at the exact time we booked in a nice clean modern air conditioned car. Abdullah then got out the car and greeted us both and from that minute on we all became friends. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Please pay the small extra price to support the local companies and you will definitely be rewarded. They can park right outside the venue's, let you have more time inside the venue than you would a bus tour, and Abdullah's knowledge is absolutely second to none. Being a private tour, Abdullah will tailer the trip to your specific needs so that you get the very best value for your money. Do not let the tour operators scare you into booking with them, be brave, be bold, and you will not regret it. This is by far the best way to see El Jem if you are planning on visiting this amazing piece of history.

Fabulous Private Tour to El Jem Amphitheater - I highly recommend doing this as a private tour. Our Guide Abdallah was brilliant. He was punctual picking us up from the hotel reception. He spoke very good English and was very chatty sharing his knowledge of the area and the history of the colleseum. The beauty of having a private tour is that you have more looking at the sites. I must add also that his driving was good and the car comfortable with lovely air conditioning. Highly recommend

One of the best trips ever 😁 - Excellent trip in a comfortable air conditioned car. Abdallah our guide was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Myself and my son thoroughly enjoyed this trip the colluseum and ElJem museum are both stunning. Abdallah gave us all the information we needed and opportunities to ask questions then left us to explore which was perfect. Communication prior to the trip was also excellent we felt well looked after and very safe. Access to almost every part of the colluseum and museum was also a highlight.

El Jem, a visit not to be missed. - Anis was a very efficient guide and above all an excellent driver which is very important in Tunisia. The site visited is grandiose. He adapted his pace to ours. The explanations provided and the details surrounding the current activities of the city were captivating. His French is excellent and easy to understand for Quebecers. A visit to Tunisia must include a visit to El Jem and we highly recommend this guide.

5 star trip - Fantastic experience. We were collected from our hotel lobby on time which was fantastic by our guide. Visiting El Jem Amplithetre is amazing! Worth the journey to visit and the museum afterwards has so many interesting ruins and mosaics again from roman times. Our guide was very knowledgable and available to answer questions and told us all about the area and tunisia in general. The journey was very pleasant in a comfortable car and our guides driving was perfect, calm and safe! Unlike some of the taxi journeys we had experienced. I would 100% recommend this tour as a great way to visit el jem as its so convenient and half a day is plenty of time to see both the Amplithetre and museum. I had looked at alternatives to get to el jem but to be honest nothing beats a private trip with a knowledgeable local. Thank you for a memorable trip Abdallah!

Great trip to a fantastic place - We loved this trip. Abdallah was a mine of information but also gave us time to enjoy and explore the amphitheatre on our own. The museum was a pleasant surprise too. Amazing mosaics and tranquil courtyards. We had both places pretty much to ourselves. Certainly worth paying a little extra for a private tour. We would not have had the same experience on a coach tour.
