Departing from Cape Town, the journey heads towards the Stellenbosch Winelands en route to Franschhoek.
Along the way, there will be a stop at Hillcrest Berry Orchards, a popular spot among locals, where you can enjoy a Morning Tea Experience in a beautiful garden setting overlooking the Berry Orchards and Rose Gardens at the edge of the Stellenbosch Winelands.
The tour continues over the Helshoogte Pass through the historic town of Pniel, leading to the second stop at Boschendal Wine Estate for a Cellar Tour and a unique MCC tasting experience. Enjoy a stroll through the scenic gardens.
Next, visit Rickety Bridge Wine Estate for a Scenic Lunch and Wine Pairing experience with views of the Franschhoek Vineyards. There will be time to shop for wine in the Tasting Room or learn to play the French game of Boule on the lawns.
After lunch, the tour drives through the historic village of Franschhoek with guided commentary and includes a visit to the Huguenot Monument.
The journey continues up to the top of the Franschhoek Pass, one of the first engineered mountain passes in South Africa, offering a chance to admire the Franschhoek Winelands from above.
The tour proceeds to The Franschhoek Cellars for a Beer or Wine Pairing Experience before returning to Cape Town.
Guests who have chosen the upgraded GOLD Dinner Theater experience will disembark at the Gold Restaurant for drumming, dinner, and a show.
All guests will then be returned to their drop-off locations.
