Additional Information

Heading out to look for whales. We are fortunate that the right whales often come very close to the shore, making them easy to watch. However, I recommend bringing a pair of binoculars for your next booking with us to observe whales that are further out to sea. A camera is essential if you wish to capture any memories, and a good zoom lens is advisable….

Horrible execution to a potentially fabulous day - The experiences this trip provided and auto were 5 star. The execution was so terrible that I need to warn travelers considering it. The whale watching company was excellent, and drive to the site very scenic. It provided a stop at a beautiful bakery and coffee shop. The trip along the coast was breathtaking and we stopped for photos. The auto was clean and in good condition. The tour offers choices of activities in Hermosa. I was dropped at whale watching and told I would be picked up after my tour ended at 11. Meanwhile another guest was taken to a shark adventure. At 1 pm, after waiting 2 hours in the sun without facilities or wifi, I found someone to give me a wifi hot spot. The guide initially did not answer his phone. I then reached out to Viator to see if they can reach anyone. At 1:15 the guide called me and said he would be right there. I was picked up after 2pm., after waiting 3 hours. The tour was so late, we chose to forego the lunch at a seaside restaurant in an attempt to get make our other stops abd make the 2 hour journey to the wineries before they closed. We arrived at the first one 15 minutes before closing and were not admitted. The guide found one open until 7 pm which we enjoyed. During this time the guide admitted that the shark experience at the location usually booked was unavailable and the other guest had to be driven to another location over an hour away. He KNEW I would be waiting for hours. I also observed him not answering his phone. I heard a phone call being returned later in the day reassuring the caller I had been picked up. It was obvious the caller was concerned that a female solo traveler was left to wait for 3 hours. In end, we missed the seaside lunch with whale and dolphin watching, had one winery instead of two or more and had a 14 hour day. I had a severe sun and wind burned face. Unexcusable that a problem was apparent and they would put customers through this day
