Highlights
  • The Long March to Freedom - Shortly after being picked up from your hotel by a professional tour guide driver, you will be transported to the newly relocated ‘’Long March to Freedom’’ exhibit, which was previously situated in Pretoria. Now located in Cape Town’s Century City suburb, about 10 km from the City Centre, the Long March to Freedom features a monumental procession of 100 life-size bronze statues of iconic figures. It is the largest exhibition of its kind globally. These detailed sculptures of both renowned and lesser-known South African and international personalities narrate the 350-year struggle for freedom and democracy in South Africa, starting from the establishment of the Dutch East India settlement in Cape Town in 1652 and culminating in the first democratic elections in 1994. This outdoor sculptural display celebrates the country’s heritage through public art, offering visitors a chance to learn about South Africa’s history.
  • Castle of Good Hope - The Castle of Good Hope is one of the oldest buildings in South Africa and remains a significant historical site open to visitors. It encapsulates historical events dating back 350 years, providing a glimpse into the past.

Best guides ever - My dream was to go to Robben Island but it's normal in August to have bad weather so this tour is the best alternative if you wanna go deep inside SA history. Amable and Walter were my guides and they were so brilliant. They have huge knowledge. Also I didn't feel like a tourist, I felt part of them. Thank you for this beautiful immersion!
