Hluhluwe Game Reserve - The Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve is a 2. 5 hour dive from Durban or 1. 5 hours from Richards Bay and is Africa’s oldest proclaimed game reserve.

In Hluhluwe we go on a 4x4 Game Drive.

Situated in the very heart of Zululand, the traditional home to the Zulu people, the reserve is world famous for it’s conservation efforts. The reserve is home not only to the Big-5, but also to other endangered species like the African Painted Wild Dog.

And while the Big-5 is always exciting to try and find, the Smaller animals can be just as fun and rewarding to find!

St Lucia - From Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve we head off to St Lucia. St Lucia is a world-class wildlife destination in South Africa, located at the heart of magnificent natural coastal forests, wild animals, majestic bird life, breathtaking beaches and hospitable people.

Situated right at ISimangaliso Wetland Park, a Unesco World Heritage site, which stretches for 220 kilometres from the Mozambique border to Maphelane, at the southern end of Lake St Lucia. Here there is a chance to spot hippos and crocodiles; elephants and giraffes; leopards and turtles; pelicans and flamingos.

In St Lucia is where we spend the night.
