- Camps Bay - Enjoy a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, with mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, passing through Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno, and Hout Bay. We’ll stop at Maiden’s Cove for a photo opportunity with stunning views of the Twelve Apostles. This spot is perfect for panoramic photos of the ocean, Camps Bay Beach, Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and the beautiful suburbs of Clifton and Camps Bay. We call this the Kodak moment.
- Chapman’s Peak Drive - Leaving Camps Bay, we’ll drive along Chapman’s Peak and stop at the viewpoint for breathtaking photos. It’s no wonder Chapman’s Peak is one of the most scenic routes in the world.
- Cape Point Vineyards Tasting Room - Guests can opt for a wine tasting at the beautiful Cape Point Vineyards. Surrounded by vineyards and ocean views, the cool sea breezes create a slow-growing season, resulting in a unique Sauvignon Blanc known worldwide for its rich minerality, structure, and tone. A sit-down lunch in their restaurant or a picnic lunch overlooking the man-made dam is highly recommended.
- Cape of Good Hope - Our tour concludes at the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Lighthouse. Here, we’ll explore the Dias & Vasco Da Gama Crosses, marking the arrival of the first Europeans in Cape Town around 1487 & 1495. If you wish to hike, please inform your guide. Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring sunscreen, and a jacket or hat.
- Old Cape Point Lighthouse - From the Cape of Good Hope, we can either take a short hike to Cape Point or ride the Funicular. Lunch can be enjoyed at the Two Oceans restaurant for a sit-down meal or at the informal eatery for takeout. We’ll also explore the most southwestern point of Africa, where the cold Benguela current from the Atlantic Ocean meets the warm Agulhas current of the Indian Ocean. We’ll visit the lighthouse and more.
- Simon’s Town - Our next stop is Simon’s Town, home to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Your guide will take you to the viewing point to see some of the 2,500 breeding pairs of African Penguins up close. You might even see a few walking alongside you on the boardwalk. The African Craft Market offers beautiful handcrafted African art. There are also several restaurants for lunch, and the driver will recommend the best one for you.
- Muizenberg Beach - Our final stop is at the colorful Muizenberg beach houses. See the famous colorful houses surrounded by Muizenberg mountains, enjoy the sea breeze, take pictures, and then we’ll head back to Cape Town, where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation.
