Fabulous 5 star Hiking experience - What a great day out! Kristie was so accomodating and informative. From collecting me from the Lithgow Information Centre and driving me in, fresh towels to dry my feet after the river crossing, lots of knowledge about the plants and animals in the area, the geological, mining and aboriginal history, through to current issues affecting the valley due to the range of natural disasters we have all experienced recently. Morning tea was absolutely delicious - friands, chocolate caramel slice, mixed berries and hot coffee! I learnt so much about the area and was in awe of the valleys, canyon and pagoda formations. I'll definitely be back to experience another hike with Kristie.

Amazing tour and fabulous guide - We have walked many walks around the world but this is one of our best. Kristie was very well planned and thoughtful about all our needs. She is extremely knowledgeable about the history, geology, birds, flora and fauna and was able to answer any question we asked. Kristie tells amazing stories and has a great sense of humour which created a wonderful memory for us. We highly recommend this tour.

Great way to spend a day .... - Kristie was a fabulous guide, knowledgeable and so accommodating! The little extra touches - towels to dry those frigid feet, hot coffee and a delicious morning tea and lunch all very much appreciated. Thanks Kristie for a great day out in the spectacular Wolgan Valley...

Spectacular drive in to glow worms - Awesome walk. Suitable for people with some limited mobility (has stairs and uneven ground in the tunnel). Take a torch or well charged phone with light.

5 Star guided tour of the Glow Worms - We were incredibly fortunate that after a week of rain resulting in slippery tracks, Kristie kindly offered to drive us up Newnes Plateau to access the Glow Worm Tunnel through the shorter 1km easy walk from a nearby car park. She perfectly timed the excursion, leaving early to enjoy the drive with frequent stops to get out and enjoy scenery whilst receiving incredibly knowledgeable commentary on all that we saw. The early start also meant we didn’t encounter too many other tourists inside the tunnel & we could switch off our lights & enjoy the amazing spectacle in the dark and in silence. Using red light to show us the “worms” close-up meant no disturbance of these little critters. Great eco-friendly behaviour that I wish the authorities would encourage. Even though we missed out on the usual longer scenic walk, the trip was the highlight of our stay in the area. The morning tea was scrumptious! A huge thanks to Kristie for enabling us to witness this natural spectacle notwithstanding the weather 👍

Stars in a cave - Beautiful hike and a nice length. The tunnel is amazing and the glow worms were literally like stars in a night sky. The tunnel is very dark and feels spooky, but so worth it!!
