Great adventurous tour! - This was a fantastic tour for us. I have basic biking skills, my husband is an experienced rider. In regard to skill and fitness required, the tour was highly enjoyable for us both. Phil and his team were exceptional guides who made sure we were safe while having a bit of adventure. We got to see some beautiful countryside and thanks to the expert knowledge of our guides learned a lot about the history of the Mt Wellington area. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see some beautiful Tasmanian wilderness whilst burning off a few of the holiday calories.

A must do for keen mountain bikers - A must-do for keen mountain bikers HOWEVER (and it's a big however), if you do the 33+km self-guided "big day out", make sure you are proficient in reading and using TrailForks, and take a portable battery for your phone. The ride from the top to the springs is fun and worth doing (although I'm not sure why it's an extra $15 when the bus goes there anyway. Change the way you price that Phil, it seems a little penny-pinching). The ride to Glenorchy (and back) on the North-South track is simple enough to navigate, but getting from the Springs to Cascade Brewery turned into a bit of a nightmare for me. The Trailforks map supplied (seemed) to send me in the wrong direction. As my phone was running out of charge, I was genuinely worried I would have trouble getting back. Even reviewing the map that evening, I still can't figure out where I went wrong. It all ended well, and I had a great time, but I would have had more fun if I'd reviewed and planned the route better (and taken a portable battery). My bad not theirs. The company is called Bike Adventures. I just got a little extra adventure for the money. Phil, Zoe and RIchard were fabulous. Zoe organised a full-face helmet for me, as well as knee and elbow pads (which I would have paid for Phil). A great experience I will do again next time I'm in Hobart (but I'll be better prepared).

Great ride, which was both fun & informative - Great day out with these guys. Even though the wind was too strong to start the ride at the very summit, they took us up there to have a look, & then started the ride about 1km below, where we were more protected. This didn't dampen the day, as both Phil & Zoe were full of information about the area & our safety was high on their list of priorities. The ride was great for all levels of experience. Even my wife, who was a bit hesitant to go along at first, really enjoyed the whole day, especially the ride through the rain forest, where we had a few stops for more informative chats. Thanks for a great tour, that was well worth the price.

Best thing to do in Hobart. - Just do it. Best thing we did in Tassie. Worth every cent. Great communication from booking online to instructors on the trail. I'd do this again.

Riding mt Wellington - Started the day with a nice breakfast across the road from the office. Once we were fitted out with gloves and helmets, we were driven up mt Wellington. Luckily, the weather cleared, and we could start the ride after relevant safety checks and advice. Rich was very informative about places along the track as well as the road conditions ahead and how to ride them. A good way to fill in a few hours.
