Sinsa-dong (Gangnam-gu) - No.1 area for plastic surgeries. Let’s look at plastic cultures Koreans have.
한강공원 운동장 - Han river. This is a place representing developement & suicide. Let’s look at the histories of them.

Our focus for this tour is the ‘young generation’s life in Korea’.

Surely, the Korean system has fostered fabulous growth, but it has similarly left behind several daunting tasks.

With a high rate of suicides, an alarmingly low birth rate, intense academic pressure, and a booming plastic surgery industry, what factors have turned the economically prosperous Korea into one of the least happy countries globally?

We’ll explore ‘Gangnam’, one of the most developed areas, to truly understand Korean life and the challenges its inhabitants confront daily.

At the end of this tour, you will see Korea from a fresh perspective!

Jessica great, walking part boring - Jessica was a wonderful tour guide, with a lot of interesting information. So giving 5 stars to her. But to the tour company, walking around aimlessly makes no sense. We could have just sat in one spot, and listened to her like a lecture. Nothing really significant added by walking around to the locations on the tour. So the actual walking part could be much improved. Think about it.

Unique look into modern Korean culture - June provides fascinating insight into modern Korean society. We felt like we learned a lot in a few short hours, and came away with knowledge and conversation that we would not have gotten elsewhere. This tour is unique and an excellent value for what we paid. I highly recommend anyone visiting Seoul check this out.

Absolute must do - FASCINATING tour! - I’ve visited 50 countries and this is one of the best tours I’ve ever done. June is a superb storyteller and all around amazing. We learned so much about modern day society in South Korea. Really fascinating and challenging aspects like education, housing, plastic surgery and more. This tour is not to be missed while in Seoul!

Exceptional Tour and Deep Cultural Dive - Jessica gives such a refreshing tour of life in Seoul. She is vibrant, fun, upbeat and gives so much relevant information I feel I really learned some important aspects of Korean culture I never could have picked up as a tourist traveling through for a short time. Having lived and studied in the U.S. her English is perfect and she answers all questions honestly. Loved this tour as much as her moonlight tour! Highly recommend this opportunity for anyone interested in acquiring a deeper understanding of Korea and the Korean people. Thank you Jessica for another deep dive into this beautiful country.

See a side of Seoul that is different from the dazzling image portrayed in K-pop culture! - The tour was interesting and I enjoyed learning about the darker side of society from an insider’s perspective. June was able to convey the message in a way which foreigners like us could understand - I especially liked the anecdotes and statistics and figures that he shared with us. I would definitely recommend this experience! I’m now looking to go for other experiences offered by June!.
