Birthday Trip - It was my birthday trip so I traveled from Dallas, Tx. It was everything I expected. It was hot and I had motion sickness but still was worth it.

Lots of action and great crew! - The crew was great and after a first stop that yielded very little action, the captain moved us to a much better location. Our group caught 40-50 fish (mostly hard heads) - but still super fun. My family had a great time.

Chummin it up - The staff and boat crew were all friendly. Very convenient that they had bait, tackle, and rods onboard. Pricing was fair. Accommodated young and older individuals. Had at least 15-20 people (probably more). Bathroom onboard. Now for the experience, let me tell you. The ride started out wonderful. The evening trip had a nice breeze. We stopped along our first spot. Swells were ok. The fish were only biting on one side of the boat. Mainly, catfish, whiting, and croakers. On our side it was a tangle fest. We move to the second spot. This spot defied everything about bay fishing. Swells were slamming against the boat. We went from normal swaying to feeling like I was in the North Sea. It felt like a game of survival of the fittest for who wasn’t chumming and had the strongest sea legs. At least 25-40% of the people onboard were chumming, dry heaving, or sweating profusely. The last spot was very much bay like. Calm waters. Nobody on our trip caught anything spectacular but the memories will last forever. Needless to say, this story will live on forever and we will laugh hysterically when we think back on paying $179 dollars to throw up onboard and catch one fish.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! - It was my first time at South padre island and decided to try a bay fishing trip not knowing what to expect. To my surprise, the staff was very nice! The ride was bearable, and the water was calm. I didn’t know much about the fish in this area, thankfully I had a young man Carlos who was very attentive, informative, and friendly! Even though we didn’t catch much fish the views were good and the conversations were good! I will definitely be recommending this spot to my family and friends. I plan on taking another trip, hope to see Carlos there!

Nice boat ride, ok fishing, ok crew - I as expecting more interaction with the captain and crew giving a little bit of info about the area we were in. We got an extremely quick lesson with the fishing poles. For those who had never fished before, it would have been impossible to figure out how to drop a line. Vacationing with another family and 6 kids between both families, we had to assist the kids and show them what to do. Not much fish to be caught. About 30 mins was wasted because there was a problem with the anchor so that was frustrating. They drove to a few different spots, but not much fish were caught at any locations. It was just ok. The boat ride was nice being on the water.

An “OK” experience - Pros: The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. We got to catch some fish. Cons: we arrived 1 hour prior as instructed. So not necessary. Left the doc late. Then a few people were sick and a toddler was crying almost the whole time. Apparently the captain polled the people and the vote was to go back early. There was 6 people in our party and 3 guys next to us that wanted to stay. But we went back to doc early. We felt a bit robbed of our time out there.
