- Arches National Park - The tour will proceed north on US 191, passing by the entrance of Arches National Park, which was initially designated as a National Monument before becoming a National Park in 1971. With our special use permit, we can access Arches through the back entrance via Willow Springs Road. This backcountry path takes you through the newly established “Utah Raptor State Park.” In this historic area, where Native Americans lived for thousands of years, you can observe dinosaur tracks and enjoy the stunning views of the La Sal Mountains. The Park is situated on an underground salt bed, which has led to the formation of arches, spires, and sandstone fins. Key stops include Eye of the Whale, Balanced Rock, Delicate Arch viewpoint, and the Windows Section. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours. All vehicles used are Jeep Rubicons, which are enclosed and air-conditioned.
- Canyonlands National Park - The Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park is the highlight of this fantastic half-day tour. Positioned 2,000 feet above the canyon floor, the tour descends from the mesa top via the renowned Shafer Trail. Utilizing Shafer Trail’s winding switchbacks, the tour guides guests from the mesa top to the winding river corridor below. Throughout the tour, an experienced and knowledgeable guide will provide insights into the Park and its various scenic views. The tour emphasizes the history, archaeology, and geology of the area.
