Good guide to an astonishing place - This was just what we wanted from an audio guide. Often they are overly long and lag behind the pace of travel, but this was informative, entertaining and a good listen.

Monumental memories - Already at dawn at the entrance to the park. The slowly rising sun is constantly changing the landscape. Fine to do with a regular car, if you drive quietly. But this gives you enough time to see everything properly.

Worth the visit the audio made it even better. - The rock formations are hard to describe. It takes your breath away. The road could use some improvement but there were recents storms that had damaged the road. The audio added to the trip with explainations and stories.

Amazing - Fantastic, Information inside was very interesting. Cafe and shop is lovely. Trail is fantastic. Dirt track roads and very uneven, you have to drive very slow, but in awe of what you see as you drive around.

Good - Buying the self driving tour online was easy. Not sure I needed it though. Map pretty much got us around. One area, on the map was code talker point. Virtual tour called it artist something. It was worth seeing. Didn't see a lot of smiling faces in the back of those open tour vehicles. Flavor of the day was SLOW.

Wow experience, but beware of road surface. - Monument Valley sites are so impressive and a must see. I mistakenly went to the Visitor Center, missed the early part of the tour and picked it up there. The tour finished before the end of the road with no clear way to exit. The dirt/grave road is extremely rough and uneven. It is not appropriate for a car. I strongly recommend using only a truck or SUV type of vehicle. Wished I knew this in advance.

Fabulous views but poor signage and terrible roads. - We started our trip outside the visitors center but when the audio stated it was at stop 9. We continued on thinking we would find 1-8 when we finished. There was little to no signage in the park to tell you where you were. The roads were terrible with huge rocks and potholes. We had trouble finding our way out of the 17 mile drive. We had to follow the audio backwards to figure out how to get out. We never found stops 1-8. The rock formations were fabulous but better signage and better roads would have enhanced the visit greatly.

Sheer grandeur - The narrative alright. We learned something’s but seemed a little slight. Would recommend with caveat that we’ve heard better guides.

App did not work. - App would NOT load, didn't work. We downloaded it multiple times and nothing. We called customer service and they were useless. We spent so much time trying to open the app we didn't have an opportunity to enjoy the valley. Very disappointed.

Park closed-wasted money - The park was closed so we did not have an opportunity to do the drive. We only had one day in the area so could not go later. Waste of money.
