Wonderful Sunrise Monument Valley tour - We went on the Extended Sunrise tour with guide Bruce Lee (sp?). He picked us up exactly on time at The View Hotel and we proceeded to go down into Monument Valley. He knew the best locations to position us for photos as the sun glowed below the horizon and later when it rose above the horizon. He took us well into the back country to access these locations. In passing I asked about petroglyphs, and he took us to see two different locations with many petroglyphs and some ancient building ruins. It was a wonderful tour and he delivered back to The View Hotel right on time (and in time for breakfast). Highly recommend!

Wonderful Sunrise Tour of Monument Valley - Monument Valley is a wonder in and of itself. But, our tour guide Marjory made it so much more special. She was very prompt, even left a few minutes early with our group, since everyone was there. This gave us just a few more minutes to enjoy the experience. We were allowed all the time we wanted to take pictures and just revel in the natural beauty.

Best sunrise tour with the best tour guide…Bruce!! - If you’re debating whether to take the sunrise tour of Monument Valley, let me make it simple: do it—but make sure you go with Bruce as your guide. Bruce is absolutely phenomenal and made our experience unforgettable. His knowledge, explanations, and perfectly timed humor added so much depth and joy to the tour. We were hesitant about getting up so early with our two kids, but staying at The View Cabins made it easier, and we’re so glad we did it. Bruce made every effort to ensure the experience was not only manageable but magical. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and expertise transformed the tour into something truly special. Bruce knows every inch of Monument Valley, and his passion for sharing his culture shines through in every detail. One of the highlights was his talent for photography—he took breathtaking photos for us, ones you’d expect to pay for in an art gallery. Make sure to ask him for his signature shots; they’re truly extraordinary. What sets Bruce apart is how much heart and soul he puts into his work. He shares not just the landscape but also his culture, stories, and even a beautiful song that made the tour feel like a memory we’ll cherish forever. Thank you, Bruce, for such a meaningful experience. We wish you all the success in the world—you deserve it!

Great experience!! :) - Our sunrise tour was top notch!! Bruce enlightened us on cultural & geographic stories. He also helped us get amazing photos of this magical place. To top off our tour he sang for us while we were at the Big Hogan....it was beautiful. I would do this tour again and again. My only regret was that it had to end. Loved it....10 outta 10!!

Perfect sunrise tour - Today we had a wonderful sunrise tour with Cheryl from MV Tribal. As it was stormy, cold and had rained during the night, they chose a closed Van for us and really took care about a comfortable temperature. We were only five persons in the group as some guests hadn’t shown up. During the tour, we had many perfect stops and always enough time to take wonderful photos. With this tour you go to some areas you cannot go when you go individually on the loop. Cheryl gave us many information about the Navajo nation, traditions, history and geology of the monument valley, it was really interesting and she had a good sense of humor. And she had very good photography skills, good hints and really is a Panorama pro on the iPhone. We would definitely book this tour again and recommend it to friends.

Bucket-List Monument Valley Tour, So fabulous! - Our tour into Monument Valley was fantastic! We did the Sunrise Tour with our Navajo guide, Bruce. It was awesome (incredible scenery) after sunrise, safe, fun, a wee bit chilly, and well worth the cost. Bruce was so informative. I was the only person with mobility challenges, and Bruce was very kind and helpful to me. We saw the rock formations up super close, the rocks with erosion holes, a very interesting sweat lodge made by Navajo, and lots more, including the night to early morning wilderness sky. I recommend this tour very highly.
