Definitely recommend this tour! - Cheryl was our tour guide and she was personable as well as knowledgeable. We were there in December so it wasn't busy and we unexpectedly had a private tour. Cheryl was happy to be our personal photographer and even showed us techniques to get the best iphone pictures. The tour was gorgeous and sunset was a perfect time.

Our wonderful tour of Monument Valley with Navajo guide, Cheryl! - Our Navajo guide, Cheryl was great and educated us on Navajo culture and showed us the most beautiful and interesting sights in Monument Valley! She gave us some great tips on how to maximize the effectiveness of our iPhones to capture the most memorable pictures!

Surreal & beautiful land! - What an experience to travel the roads with a knowledgeable driver. Marjorie is a person you will want to meet and talk with to understand the land formations that have been here for centuries. Although it was extremely windy when we started the trip, it became part of the adventure. Midway through the tour, the wind had died down and the formations were glowing with the sunset…just no words!

Magic at sunset with Larry - Our guide Larry, showed us magical and mysterious places, in this valley that reminds us of the great western movies and that if you don't see you think it's an artificial set, but instead they are fantastic, a magic that in the trip, we could also deepen aspects that without Larry we would never have known. A scenic drive who took around the valley at sunset, Larry's explanations very interesting, each mountain has a Navaho story that he told us.

Unforgettable moments to last forever! - It was a little bit cloudy when we took off on our sunset tour after Bruce patiently was waiting almost 30 minutes for “no shows”. Here is what I loved about our sunset tour and our guide Bruce. There were no loud speakers blaring at us as we traveled the red dirt roads in the back of the vehicle (like other tours we could hear ahead of us). We were alone in our thoughts and the quiet spirit of the Valley was mesmerizing. Our guide Bruce made multiple stops where he would explain the Park , the history, stories of natives who lived there in the past and also describe the faces in the monuments. We had so many experiences that took our breath away. He was extremely knowledgeable (taught us how the monuments were formed by ice, water and wind) and very patient with us as sometimes we were just so excited, we would interrupt his flow. He offered to take photos and shared lessons not just iPhone photos but lessons learned as a child. He was personal, friendly and just awesome! We were beyond blessed to have Bruce as our guide and the opportunity to be a part of this tour with him. We have memories to last forever and “there is short gap in the Navajo Blessing song for our next best moments.” Thank you!

VERY EXOENSIVE Ride-Share or Tour?? You decide. - Here is my issue with the tour. It was lazy. I was hoping for an informed discourse on culture, geology, and history. What we got was all sorts of information on the tour guide's personal life in the rodeo. When prompted with questions that were specific to any of our areas of interest, he either didn't know or gave a pre-school-level answer or worse, gave an incorrect answer, especially when the subject matter concerned the Navaho people! The tour company doesn't train their guides. They drive the vehicle and feel that's good enough for the hefty price charged.

Would not want to go with the same guide again! Unfriendly and rude!! - We were quite disappointed with the lack of ‘welcome” we received while waiting for the tours guides to show up. Then, when our guide showed up, she said to my friend,” I see you are sniffling….I sure hope you don’t make me sick since we’ll be close in the van”. I was shocked by this! At the very start of the tour, she remarked about the people who were pulling over along the route and taking photos and how disrespectful they were to her people. Really??? Why?? They have paid a lot of money to come to this site and they want to capture it on film! That’s an issue???!! Throughout the tour, our guide and her other guide buddy, kept telling us to hurry up at several spots, but when they wanted to visit and chit chat together, they were in no hurry! And towards the end made it very clear we needed to hurry up so they could be back by 6pm….just plain rude and unfriendly! We were so sad as we had looked forward to this tour and it certainly wasn’t inexpensive!
