This 2.5-hour tour spans over 28/45 km and offers a unique opportunity to witness the beauty and history of this iconic location. Our knowledgeable guides will take you through the most picturesque spots, providing interesting insights and facts along the way. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience! As part of the tour, the Backcountry section offers a mesmerizing experience of exploring natural arches and fascinating Petroglyphs that date back to the Anasazi civilization, providing a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region.

- We do observe Daylight Savings TIme. We are on Mountain Standard Time (UT). Be advised that there is a one hour time difference between Arizona Time Zone and the Navajo Nation Time Zone (Mid-March to October).

Joe and his tour were an amazing part of our trip! - We had a great 2.5 hr tour with Joe. It was the absolute best part of our 8-day trip around UT and AZ! We thoroughly enjoyed Joe's information & stories. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and I actually appreciated not stopping at all the "touristy" areas along the route so that we could see more and learn more about the land and rock formations. Truly an awesome tour and well worth the money!

Really great Navajo guide... - Really great Navajo guide who was patient and informative. Certain roads are closed to private cars so a tour makes sense.

2.5 hour tour was perfect - Great views and wonderful guide with a wealth of stories and Navaho experience that made it very special. Saw so much more than the differential cost to repair my rental car! Cost very reasonable, don’t forget cash to tip your guide

Such beautiful scenery and learned so much! - I am so glad my husband and I took this tour! We learned a lot and saw so much more than what we would have if we went on our own. Our tour guide John was awesome! He gave us lots of information as well as even played the flute while we were laying against a rock taking in the views. It was absolutely amazing. We got some amazing pictures and will forever have amazing memories! Definitely recommend this tour!!!

Monument Valley Must See List - Incredible journey thru Monument Valley with our very wonderful guide! John was has so much knowledge of the Navajo nation, clans, customs and history. He knows the valley inside and out and showed us so many things that we would have missed on our own. This is a must do tour!!

So good I’m already planning my next trip back. - We did a 2.5 hour backcountry tour with Dineh Bekeyah Tours. I was a little apprehensive at first bc the weather was cold and windy. We were relieved when John, our tour guide, showed up in a closed van and not an open Jeep. John was great. He is very knowledgeable of MV and a great story teller. He made frequent stops so we could get out and take pictures. John recommended some settings for me to try on my smart phone and his suggestions really enhanced my picture taking. I love love love my shots. I have driven the loop in MV 5 times and had no idea what I was missing. I wish I’d taken this tour years ago. John took us to places I’ve never seen before bc personal vehicles are not allowed in the backcountry areas where we went. There’s more to see so we will go back and book with Dineh Bekeyah Tours. I hope we are fortunate and get John again.

Highly recommend the Backcountry Tour. It's incredible. Our guide was amazing! - This tour to the backcountry was fantastic. The arches and formations in the backcountry are amazing. Our guide, Mr. Elvis Stanley, was extremely knowledgeable and provided great insight to the Navajo Nation and Monument Valley. He really was a terrific.

Great experience - Loved that this tour was in an enclosed vehicle with air conditioning. We had ample stops to take pictures. We started and ended exactly on time. Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Tour manager was responsive to phone calls with questions prior to departure
