Get ready for a fun ride to Peekaboo Slot Canyon! The best way to get to the canyon is with an off-road machine. Our Polaris Rangers are tons of fun for the sandy, bumpy trails.

Sandboarding is an included optional activity for children, teens, and adults who want to give it a try. You can slide standing up or sitting down according to your skill and comfort levels. There are sand dunes and beautiful scenery along the way, with occasional small wildlife that may make an appearance. This dry slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of the more busy areas at the national parks.

The hike through the slot canyon is not difficult. It does include a small ladder near the beginning of the hike. Enjoy the narrow sections with the occasional beam of light. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace.

Choose to slide either in a standing or sitting position, based on your expertise and comfort. On the journey, expect sand dunes, beautiful landscapes, and possibly a few sightings of small wildlife. The slot canyon provides a peaceful retreat from crowded areas.

The trek through the slot canyon is fairly straightforward. There is a small ladder to climb at the start of the hike. It’s an excellent chance for children and families to unwind and move at a speed they’re comfortable with.
