Our Whale Adventures are truly unique. We utilise a small vessel in small groups of only 12 guests, providing an unparalleled, personal, and boutique whale watching experience. We closely work with researchers and encourage all our guests to become inspired by what we do. Swimming with whales is a our ultimate experience and provides you with an opportunity to see and listen to the whales underwater. We will kit you up with a wetsuit (winter), mask, snorkel and life jacket. Once alongside a pod of whales, you will swim out along a floating rope designed to provide you with a safe and relaxing time with other swimmers. Once in the water you will be able to see and hear the whales. Bring your GoPro or underwater camera to film your experience. NOTE - The whales are fickle creatures and will choose if they want to swim with you. We have no control over their activities, however staying calm is best.

This was a must do when in the Gold Coast - This was one of, if not the highlight of our trip. The guide Mike and boat Capitan Andrew were fantastic. A real personal connection and worked their butts off to get us the experience we were looking for, swimming with humpbacks. we felt engaged, well informed and safe the entire time. Just an awesome experience! Our day was not as pictured in the profile, it was rough and they were very clear this would be tough, but they pulled it off. Finding whales is tough enough, but getting us in a position to have them swim within 30 feet was a feat.

Highly recommended for diving, snorkeling, and whale watching adventures in the Gold Coast - I did both the swim with whales and a scuba dive (ReActivate module) with Aqua Adventures. A wonderful experience indeed. The staff are very friendly and more importantly very professional: safety comes first. They’re easy to locate and know their stuff about scuba diving, snorkeling (which my family did) and whale watching / swimming. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the Gold Coast for a few days.

One of the best wildlife encounters you’ll have in your life - Absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a different experience than just whales watching. Crew is super available and caring of your overall experience (and security of course). Much better than jumping on a bigger boat with lots of people. Grab your best friends and go live the experience!!!

Amazing experience! - It was AMAZING!!!!!! We booked the activity of swimming with the whales and we had such a great day. We were able to swim with 3 different whales in 3 different times. We also saw them breaching and splashing water all around. It was an amazing experience. And apart from that we also got to see lots of dolphins and a turtle!!! Just great. Thank you so much the amazing staff: Adam, Mike and Monica. Super helpful and always trying to make our experience better.

Waste of money swimming on a windy/cloudy day - Although I had a great time and the whale's were amazing and the team very friendly and professional, I was actually very disappointed for many reasons. Firstly our tour should have been cancelled. The weather conditions were so rough it made many people sick and was awful for swimming with the whales. I had a friend who had booked a tour on the same day down in Ballina and her trip was cancelled due to weather, how come ours wasn't? I would have 100% preferred to come back on a day with more favourable weather conditions. Secondly we paid the extra to swim with the whales but were only allowed in the water for roughly 30 seconds before they told us to come back onto the boat. We had 2 girls on the boat who clearly could not swim in open water and had to be semi rescued. I feel like because of this, they did not want to let us back in the water because of these 2 girls. $180 extra to swim with the whales to only get into the water for 30 seconds is actually ridiculous that we did not get refunded for that. It was my birthday and all of my friends who came (8 of us) were really disappointed. I think this is pretty unfair considering how much we paid for the trip out there. The company did offer us 50% off our next trip but that is still a huge expense to go again. I'd really just prefer a partial refund of $180.
