Mandela House - After pick up, we first visit the Mandela House in Soweto for a brief guided tour

Kruger National Park - From Mandela House we travel to Kruger National Park. This is a 4 hour drive from Johannesburg. Relax at the hotel in the afternoon and taking walking trails around the area

After breakfast, we depart from the hotel and go for a game drive at Kruger National Park

Game drives at Phalaborwa Gate in Kruger National Park - After breakfast proceed to do a game drive. Opportunity to see all of Africa’s Big 5 - Elephant, lion, buffalo, cheetah, rhinoceros and much much more. Enjoy the real African bush. After breakfast depart from Kruger National Park, travel to Isimangaliso Wetlands Park, a World Heritage Site

iSimangaliso Wetland Park - On arrival in Isimangaliso Wetlands Park, in late afternoon, check in to your 3 or 4 star hotel or lodge. This is followed by a 2 hour Hippo & Croc Boat Cruise at the St Lucia Estuary. Enjoy a relaxing 2 x hour cruise on the St Lucia Estuary to see countless hippopotami, crocodiles and prolific birds. This cruise is ideal for children of all ages and also wheel chair accessible. We give you an authentic African adventure experience to ensure you make life-long memories for you and your loved ones.

We begin day 4 with a game drive in one of Isimangaliso Wetlands Park Game Reserves.

iSimangaliso Wetland Park - On day 4 after breakfast we go for a game drive at one of Isimangaliso Wetlands Park’s game reserves. We are likely to see a large number of different types of animals such as the elephant, the rhino, buffalo, eland, kudu, zebra, wilderbeast, monkeys, baboons, and plenty more.

Durban - After the game drive, we travel to Durban for the night. Durban, a coastal city in eastern South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province, is known for its African, Indian and colonial influences. Refurbished for soccer’s 2010 World Cup, the seafront promenade runs from uShaka Marine World, a huge theme park with an aquarium, to the futuristic Moses Mabhida Stadium. The Durban Botanical Gardens showcases a wide range of African plant species

Day 5 will be spent touring Durban

Victoria Street Market - The Victoria Street Market currently has in excess of 200 vendors and stall holders. The market stocks products including traditional African artwork, Indian spices, seafood, bags, brassware, traditional clothes and much more. A “must-see destination in Durban”!

Durban Botanic Gardens - The Durban Botanic Gardens is situated in the city of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is Durban’s oldest public institution and Africa’s oldest surviving botanical gardens. The gardens cover an area of 15 hectares in a subtropical climate. The Botanical Gardens is home to some of the oldest tree species in the world

Durban - We also take a walk along the Durban Promenade. The beachfront promenade was extended by nearly 8km, making it the longest promenade in Africa. The expansion forms a continuous walk from the North at the Umgeni River.

The afternoon is spent relaxing at the beaches or hotel in Durban.

After breakfast, depart from Durban and head to the Drakensberg Mountains

Howick Falls - Our first stop is at Howick falls, a 95m waterfall. See this beautiful falls. get photos. Leave a key with your name inscribed in case you will visit the same spot years later.

Nelson Mandela Capture Site - From Howick Falls we head off to Nelson Mandela Capture Site. Here we visit the Museum which has some of the best information available on South Africa’s struggle for independence. We also visit the world renowned Nelson Mandela Monument.

After breakfast we depart from Drakensberg and travel to Mthatha.

KwaZulu-Natal - We travel through the rural areas of Kwazulu Natal. We pass Ixopo and Umzimkhulu. We also experience many other rural areas. Finally we arrive in Mthatha, a rural town, for the night.

After breakfast we visit the Nelson Mandela Museum in Mthatha. Thereafter we travel to East London

We depart from East London after breakfast and head to a big 5 game reserve, the Addo Elephant National Park

Addo Elephant National Park - Addo Elephant National Park is a diverse wildlife conservation park situated close to Gqeberha in South Africa and is one of the country’s 20 national parks. It currently ranks third in size after Kruger National Park and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

We do a game drive at Addo Elephant National Park.

Depart from Port Elizabeth after breakfast and head to Knysna stopping over for bungy jumping along the way

Bloukrans Bridge - At Bloukrans Bridge you can do some bungy jumping - the world’s highest bungy at 216m. This is optional

Robberg Nature Reserve - From Bloukrans Bridge we proceed to Robberg Nature Reserve to do some hiking. This is a beautiful place combining the sea and the hills. Some of the best walking trails.

Plettenberg Bay - This seaside town has some of the finest beaches on the garden route. We do a stop over at one of the beaches here.

After breakfast, visit areas in and around Knysna

Knysna Heads - Visit Knysna heads, a beautiful spot with some of the best views of Knysna combining the sea and the mountains.

The Waterfront Knysna Quays - The Quays has a lot of shops and restaurants. Boats leave from the Quays. Breathtaking views of Knysna, crystal blue waters and and and. There really are no words to describe how stunning the views are. The Waterfront is a chilled out extension of Knysna. A scenic view of the harbor with quite a number of yachts make it a scenery. A good number of restaurants from cafes to great restaurants, one can easily spend 2-3 hours here, you can also book some rides on the lagoon.

Depart from Knysna after breakfast. Head off to Hermanus

Hermanus - Hermanus is known as one of the best places in the world for land-based whale watching. Southern right whales visit the town’s shores from June to December each year, and visitors can see these majestic creatures from the cliffs and beaches in and around the town.

Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate - Benguela Cove Wine Estate is a stunning vineyard located in the Walker Bay region of South Africa. The estate is situated on the banks of the Bot River Lagoon and boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and ocean.
The vineyard is known for its premium wines, which are produced using sustainable and environmentally friendly methods. The estate has a wide range of varietals, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz.
In addition to its excellent wines, Benguela Cove also offers a range of activities and experiences for visitors, including wine tastings, vineyard tours, picnics, and even a zip line that runs through the vineyards.

Betty’s Bay - Betty’s Bay is also known as Stony Point Penguin Colony. There is a huge population of the African Penguin. The penguins can be seen up close as they waddle around, swim in the nearby ocean, and nest in the shelter of the surrounding vegetation.

It is located at the Stony Point Nature Reserve, which is a protected area managed by the CapeNature conservation authority. Visitors can enter the reserve and walk along the boardwalks that lead through the penguin colony.
From Betty’s Bay we head off to Cape Town to conclude the tour
