Very well organized visit. - A perfect visit. We were picked up at 9.30am for a bike tour of Soweto. As requested, we had a visit in French. The guide and translator were clear in the explanations. Soweto requires a guide, the subject is so vast. Our guide living in Soweto allowed us to get to know life in this Township. Very good organization.

A rewarding family visit to Soweto with Nkuli - We spent a fantastic day with our two daughters and our family discovering Soweto with Nkuli. He guided us through iconic places and more authentic aspects of the neighborhood, while sharing a wealth of captivating information. Always listening, Nkuli encouraged us to ask questions and made us comfortable throughout the visit. We felt safe from start to finish, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We warmly recommend this tour with Nkuli to all, young and old. An unforgettable experience not to be missed!

Amazing walk tour - We had the luck of being toured by Nonhlanhla, also known as Lucky, who walked us around various places of the area including the houses of Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. She gave thorough explanations and was super kind. We very much enjoyed the tour and learned a lot on a reality of South Africa and more specifically Johannesburg that without the tour we never would have learned. Highly recommend this!

Great walking tour with Lucky! - We really enjoyed our tour of Soweto with Nonhlanhla (aka Lucky). It was a great way to experience daily life in the community and learn more about the history and culture of the area. The tour was very well structured and Lucky was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. I would highly recommend. Thank you Lucky!

Walking tour with Lucky! - We loved our tour with Nonhlanhla (aka Lucky) she was so friendly and super knowledgeable about the community and its history. She was able to alter our tour to fit in everything within a time constraint that we had. The tour itself was amazing, we loved seeing the different ways of living within the community and learning about its rich history. But Lucky really made it awesome.

I experienced Soweto - The hotel and conference centre was quite difficult to find, I was glad I took a Bolt taxi. My guide was expecting me at 9:30 but my booking said 10:30. I was glad he waited. Mandela House and the Pieterson Museum were both closed, it would have been better on a different day. No street food vendors so we ate in a rather expensive restaurant. Otherwise very good, I saw the good and the bad in Soweto. The guide (Thabito) was very good. We used a minibus-taxi which was not Road worthy, SA government should introduce an annual MOT test like in the UK.
