Apartheid museum + Soweto + Lesedi Cultural Village

Apartheid Museum - Before visiting the Apartheid Museum, we will drive through downtown Johannesburg for a brief introduction to this golden city, known as the largest city in the world not located near a coastline.

After passing through Johannesburg and its mine dumps, we will arrive at the Apartheid Museum. Here, you will learn why South Africa’s history is incomplete without understanding Apartheid. Every moment in this museum is captivating.

Mandela House - This small house was once home to Nelson Mandela and his two wives. Today, it attracts thousands of visitors from around the world as part of exploring Nelson Mandela’s biography. Nearby, you will also find the house of another icon, Desmond Tutu, offering a glimpse into the lives of these laureates. There are also delightful restaurants here where we will have lunch.

Lesedi Cultural Village - Lesedi, meaning “place of light,” is the only cultural village in South Africa that abundantly preserves the country’s cultures. From the moment we arrive, we are warmly welcomed with African melodies. Our guided tour takes us through five tribal homesteads, showcasing rich architectural styles from our ancestral period. This is followed by a unique traditional dance show. The tour concludes at the Nyama Choma restaurant. Dinner and accommodation are included.

Pilanesberg National Park Safari

Pilanesberg National Park - We start our day with breakfast before checking out and heading to Pilanesberg National Park. Upon arrival, we begin our first game drive in a private car. After the game drive, we check into our reserved accommodation around lunchtime.

Our second game drive, a sunset drive, is conducted in an open safari vehicle and lasts three to four hours. Dinner is also included.

Sunrise Game Drive and Pretoria City

Pilanesberg National Park - The sunrise game drive is also conducted in an open safari vehicle and lasts three to four hours. We finish the game drive around breakfast time. After breakfast, we check out and return to selected destinations in Johannesburg, marking the end of our lovely and memorable tour.

Voortrekker Monument - After breakfast, we check out from the hotel and head to Pretoria City. Our city briefing includes a stop at the Voortrekker Monument, where we gain more insight into the Dutch descendants in the country. A distinctive frieze elaborates on the reality of the Great Trek. Our expert tour guides will take you through all these beautiful destinations.
