Unforgettable experience in Soweto! - I am not sure what else to say but do yourself a favor and spend an afternoon with Sipho in Soweto! My friend and I booked this tour for our first day in Joburg and it set the tone for the amazing time we had on that trip. I would even recommend it for a solo traveler as this small group tour gives you the opportunity to make new friends. Sipho was extremely accommodating, informative and kind. He also made us feel safe and welcomed in his neighborhood. I give this tour and Sipho’s willingness to take a gazillion pictures of us five stars!

Couldn’t recommend more highly!! - One Day with Soweto offers an incredible, laid back and immersive visit through historic Soweto. Sipho is a dynamic host who is very knowledgeable about his community, it’s history and it’s sites. He’s also a great photographer so he has an eye for aesthetics. He’s a real people person and great at bringing people together— I was great friends with the other group on the tour by its end which was a nice surprise given I was traveling solo on work. He will make you feel very at home in Joburg. See you next time I’m in town, Sipho!

Awesome and Authentic! - This was one of my fave activities while visiting SA with some friends. This tour authentically showcased the heart of Soweto. It was good energy, lots of fun and laughter and I learned a lot. Plus, I got both a touristy AND local experience and felt safe the whole time. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Book them!

Interesting day learning about the difficult history of South Africa - They picked us up at friends' houses in Pretoria, to go first to the Apartheid museum and then to visit Soweto (Desmond Tutu's house, Mandela's house, Petersen memorial). Our guide was fantastic, explaining everything clearly and patiently! Even during the typical (although simple) lunch.
