If you like animals and love nature, you’ve found the right experience for you!
You’ll be escorted by us and our friendly little “Lagotti Romagnoli” in the truffle hunting: you’ll be amazed by their innate ability to find truffles and bring them back to their humans… Obviously no one works for nothing: they want a reward in “würstel” in return! You’ll be able to experience what it means to be a truffle hunter, and we’ll explain you everything you need to know about truffles: how to recognize them, how to preserve them, how many species exist, and any questions you may have!
Above all, we are sure that you will fall in love with our little dogs!
Anyway the experience doesn’t end this way: after about 1.5 hours of walking through fields and woods (don’t worry, it’s possible without training, with the right hiking shoes and clothes), it’s time to relax and enjoy a delicious homemade Italian style appetizer, prepared for you with our black and white truffle products and local products. Of course with white or red wine, or a smoothie made with fresh fruit from the garden!
It will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Our enterprise is nestled in the hills, just a short 15-minute drive away from the main road. This experience is perfect for you if you’re keen on immersing yourself in all things truffle and savoring this luxury. One of our distinctive features is an inclusive Aperitivo in the cost, to ensure you get to enjoy the fruits of our laborious truffle hunting. We also accommodate vegetarian requests. Please note that the schedule of the tour might fluctuate with seasonal changes. We will reach out to participants a few days before to notify of any amendments and to provide additional information. In cases of unfavorable weather, including rain, we may propose to reschedule to another convenient time on the booked day or another day. If rescheduling isn’t feasible for our guests, we promise to issue a full refund if notified 24 hours prior to the experience. We’re confident that you’ll cherish an unforgettable evening with us and our loyal canine companions. See you soon!
- It is possible to pick you up at the nearest train station (Solignano or Berceto). We can also arrange to pick you up from your hotel / accommodation in Borgo Val di Taro or surrounding areas (within 30km from Valmozzola). The private transport service has an extra cost of € 10 to be paid at our company.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
