• Localita’ Sozzi, 6 - Enjoy a 3-hour adventure in the Parma hills of Valmozzola and become a “truffle hunter” for a day with Flavia and her two truffle dogs.

After exploring the truffle farm and nearby woods, you’ll be treated to an exceptional truffle tasting. Intrigued? :)
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our diligent truffle dogs, who are not just workers but also part of our family!

The truffle forest trail spans about 2 km and can extend into the surrounding woods for a more comprehensive experience. Nestled in the lush vegetation of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines (we’re 60km from Parma and 60km from La Spezia/Cinque Terre), we’ll follow the dogs until they lead us to the truffles, which we’ll dig up ourselves.

Depending on the season, we might find black summer truffles or fall truffles. The truffle hunt can last between an hour and an hour and a half (depending on our success!) and will conclude with a tasting of the truffles we’ve found and our homemade truffle products crafted by mother Laura.

Our enterprise is nestled in the hills, just a short 15-minute drive away from the main road. This experience is perfect for you if you’re keen on immersing yourself in all things truffle and savoring this luxury. One of our distinctive features is an inclusive Aperitivo in the cost, to ensure you get to enjoy the fruits of our laborious truffle hunting. We also accommodate vegetarian requests. Please note that the schedule of the tour might fluctuate with seasonal changes. We will reach out to participants a few days before to notify of any amendments and to provide additional information. In cases of unfavorable weather, including rain, we may propose to reschedule to another convenient time on the booked day or another day. If rescheduling isn’t feasible for our guests, we promise to issue a full refund if notified 24 hours prior to the experience. • It is possible to pick you up at the nearest train station (Solignano or Berceto). We can also arrange to pick you up from your hotel / accommodation in Borgo Val di Taro or surrounding areas (within 30km from Valmozzola). The private transport service has an extra cost of € 10 to be paid at our company.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
