You must do this excursion! - Today we were lucky enough to do this excursion with our fantastic guide Wilf and Gregory our driver for the day. We'll what can I say both locations were just picture postcard perfect! Guadalest is an absolute gem hidden in the mountains. We had plenty of time to visit the museums, the castle and an original house. The views are spectacular and a visit here is an absolute must! After, we moved on to the Algar waterfalls which were just stunning. A very refreshing dip was had in a few of the many pools. You had the choice of paddling in the shallows to diving into a deep blue pool. The highlight was the stunning waterfall and pool apparently used for the famous Timotei advert in the 80s. All in all it was a brilliant day which we would highly recommend. If you are lucky enough to have Wilf as your guide then that's a bonus as he was lovely. He was bilingual too so it was great for all guests on our coach not just the English. Everyone got his attention and friendliness throughout.

Jalon with Wilf - Cracking clean and comfortable coach with new driverBlanco. What can I say about the irrepressible Wilf our multi linguist guide who catered for every taste. Both English and Dutch got everything explained in great detail. Informative, funny and helpful he is a credit to the company. Enjoy Eurovision mate!

Lively day in the valley - Well organised. Comfortable coach, delighted that the coach had air con!!! Plenty of information given on the way to the Jalon Valley all about the areas we passed and about the market as well. Lots of stalls with everything you could possibly think if buying. Plenty of places to eat or just have a coffee. Very pleasant few hours, would highly recommend both the tour and using this conoany to book it

Jalon Valley - Had a really nice day out to Jalon Valley. Wendy our lovely tour guide was great! Very informative on the area we visited and also where we drove through. Got do quite a bit of wine tasting and also see the markets. Took a walk around the town and visited the Iglesia Parroquial de Santa María. Unfortunately it was closed though. Also to a walk to the botánico natural del Tossalet Park which was lovely. Round Town Travel has been great. I would have liked to have done more excursions with them.

Worthwhile trip - We went on this trip with Round Town Travel. The trip was well organised, in a very comfortable coach. Wendy was very clear and pointed out various interesting sights during the journey. Slightly disappointed that the trip wasn't to a vineyard, only a co-operative bodega, but the wine tasting was interesting. The main attraction of the day appeared to be he giant car boot sale/antique/newer item market which stretched for a very long way beside the river. The views of the Jalon (Xalo) valley were very pretty. Round Town Travel were very helpful as I booked direct from my hotel, and ended up speaking to Lee, who was able to sort out a problem I had with the website.

Market - Beware of the tour guide telling you about the " well worth the money" meal deal, it was awful thinking we were going to get some nice artisan bread for our sandwich No! pan bread with grated cheese "side salad" which was about the size of a 2 pound coin the crisps the same about, The tour guide came round and then phoned in the order, I think it had been made up then and sat till we got there as the sandwiches were curling out and crispy the salad was limp and crisps where soggy,Not Good. The market and town were in comparison very quaint the market less manic that Benidorm if you go one street back from the main road you will find some really nice little restruants and bars for lunch.

Rained off but still picked us up - For those of you that have not been, it is a small village with a long skinny market, most of the side streets sell all sortd of food, form fresh black pudding, meats, eggs , honey ect, wine tasting, if you can carry it back to UK. Picked up in the morning, traveled up, taking ordering for a local cafe on route. Been raining very early, but all looked well! When the coach arrived, they checked to SEE IF THE MARKET WAS ON??? 6 STALLS AND TAHT WAS IT!! ALL THEY WANTED WAS TO GET YOU THERE AND DUMP!! NOTHING ELSE IN THE VILLAGAE Do not waste your CASH WITH THIS TRIP!! NO REFUND AS WE HAVE TAKEN YOU!!
