A nature experience, beautiful - Highly recommended, great walk in beautiful nature. How small you feel in such beautiful surroundings. I could have taken a hundred photos. However, a photo never reflects reality. You have to see this with your own eyes and walk for yourself. A great guide Sylvia who could tell a lot about nature and everything. So also very educational and interesting.

Excellent hike down into the caldera - We took the guided walk down into the caldera de taburiente. It was a very well-organised walk and on a beautiful sunny day the experience was fabulous. The walk is 16 km, mostly downhill on gravelly tracks, so concentration is required. That said, one of our group with 2 artificial hips was able to finish the walk. I recommend strong hiking boots although younger members of the group managed with trainers.
