Capturing Tenerife: A Family Adventure Through Lens and Landscape
Join me as I explore the breathtaking landscapes of Tenerife on a photography tour that promises adventure and family bonding. From volcanic terrains to lush forests and stunning sunsets, this experience offers something for everyone.
Discovering the Magic of Tenerife’s Landscapes
As a travel writer and a mother of three, I am always on the lookout for experiences that can captivate both adults and children alike. When I heard about the Tenerife Photography Tour, I knew it was something I had to explore. The promise of unique landscapes and the opportunity to capture them through photography was too enticing to pass up.
Our adventure began with a visit to the Teide National Park, a place that has become the most visited national park in Spain. The volcanic landscapes were unlike anything I had ever seen before. My children were fascinated by the rugged terrain, and I found myself snapping photo after photo, trying to capture the essence of this extraordinary place. The park’s unique environment provided a perfect backdrop for family portraits, and we spent a good amount of time exploring and learning about the volcanic formations.
Embracing the Greenery of Anaga
Next on our itinerary was the Parque Rural de Anaga, a protected cloud forest that sits more than 800 meters above sea level. This was a stark contrast to the volcanic landscapes of Teide, and my children were thrilled to be surrounded by such lush greenery. The forest is home to a world of endemic plants and trees, and our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating facts about the flora and fauna.
We took a leisurely walk through the forest, stopping frequently to take photos and admire the breathtaking views. The kids enjoyed spotting different plants and trying to identify them with the help of our guide. It was a wonderful educational experience that combined fun with learning, something I always strive to achieve in our family travels.
Capturing the Sunset at Playa de Benijo
Our final stop was Playa de Benijo, located at the northeastern tip of Tenerife. Known for its stunning sunsets, this beach did not disappoint. The high cliffs and unique rock formations created a dramatic scene, and as the sun began to set, the sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant colors.
We set up our cameras and watched in awe as the waves of the Atlantic Ocean reflected the sunset’s hues. It was a magical moment that we will cherish forever. The kids were mesmerized by the changing colors and the beauty of the natural world, and I was grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with them.
The Tenerife Photography Tour was a perfect blend of adventure, education, and family bonding. It allowed us to explore some of Tenerife’s most beautiful landscapes while creating lasting memories through photography. I highly recommend this tour to families looking for a unique and enriching travel experience.
