In Timanfaya – if there’s one thing you do in Lanzarote, this has to be it – you’ll encounter an active volcano, feeling the heat beneath your feet, witnessing brushwood burn into flames and steaming geysers shooting from the ground. Then see the destructive power of the volcano over the years as you journey through lava fields and pass the craters through a desolate landscape more befitting another planet.
Rounding off the tour with a wine tasting in La Geria, cross the most important winegrowing area of Lanzarote, a unique example of how a place has adapted to and made good use of its land characteristics (stop in a typical winery and tasting session are included).
