Magical - Amazing experience. We were able to hear the monks singing and it was magical. Lots of areas to hike so if that is what you like to do I would find a trip that gives you more time. This trip was perfect for us.

Montserrat to yourself - This was an amazing tour. The only way to get to Montserrat this early is to either drive, hike or do a tour. The first hour or so that you are there, it will be mostly to yourself. Then crowds of people start coming. It is truly magical to watch the sunrise there. Albert was a wonderful guide and walked us up to the top as far as we wanted to go and then we had a few hours on our own. He even had bottles of water for us, which was a nice surprise!

Amazing Montserrat - Totally worth the early trip! We are able to see monserrat right before sunrise. We are one of the first people to see the la moreneta and we are able to hear the monks sing. Montserrat is amazing, we cannot stop getting amused of the views. Every angle is picture worthy. Albert is a great guide and knows a lot about Montserrat. Definitely this is one of the highlights of our trip!

Small group. Must do Montserrat - This trip was amazing. The weather did not cooperate so we did not see the sun rise, still worth while. Albert is a great guide. Wealth of information and a great sense of humor. We were virtually alone to experience the mountain. We witnessed the monks opening prayers and walked the paths of the mount without crowds. Albert was punctual and always in contact with us. We had group and solo time. Walking paths are very doable. The onsite bakeries and cafeterias offer delicious snacks

Worth it - This is the way to maximise your holiday. Getting there before the crowds was really worth it! Had plenty of free time to go on a hike to see the views, visit the museum and coffee/lunch. Thanks Albert!

Wonderful early morning trip to Monserrat! - Albert was great! He communicated very well with us & made our pick up very easy. He was very organized & made our trip to Monserrat very enjoyable. We were the 1st people there to see the black Madonna & enjoyed hearing the monks singing beforehand. The sunset arrival was beautiful as well!

Feedback on our experience - Albert was certainly prompt and clear with pick up instructions. Being at the mountain before everyone else certainly an advantage, however the morning we were there, it was very foggy and we couldn't see much including the sunrise. More research into the weather a day ahead may have meant we could have delayed our early start by 1/2 an hour - 3/4 of an hour. Albert always seemed rushed and his communication was not very clear. He also allowed the group to do quite challenging hikes, unsupervised and without qualifying fitness level of individuals or appropriate footwear. He also often walked on ahead of the group and not providing any commentary on monuments or statues as we passed them - perhaps he did not know what they were? He is not a qualified guide but did say he is studying to become one soon.
