A great way to experience traditional Dalmatian cuisine - What a great way to experience Croatian food. Tatjana was the ultimate host. We wandered around the green market trying various produce and learning about the different ingredients to be used in our cooking lesson. We then did a quick tour learning about the local history on our way to her apartment to start our lesson. Tatjana was totally engaged with us during our whole time with her. We ate, drank and laughed while we enjoyed several traditional Dalmatian dishes. I was so impressed that I purchased her cookbook so I can try some of the other recipes at home. We met a strangers and left as friends with a similar passion for good food.

Tanja’s class offers excellent value for money, providing a deep dive into the culinary traditions of this beautiful city. The highlight of the experience was the fantastic and informative walk through Split's markets, where we learned about the local produce and traditional ingredients used in Dalmatian cuisine. Our host, Tanja, was incredibly generous, accommodating, and knowledgeable. She shared insights about the history and culture of Split's food, making the class both educational and enjoyable. Tanja's warm hospitality made us feel at home, and her passion for cooking was truly infectious. Her flat is homely and comfortable, and her English is perfect. The dishes we prepared were delicious and authentically Split. Each recipe was a perfect representation of the local flavours and techniques, allowing us to create meals that we can now replicate at home with confidence. If you find yourself in Split, I highly recommend this cooking class. It's a must-do activity that not only offers great value but also provides a memorable and immersive experience into the heart of Dalmatian cuisine. Don't miss it!

Yummy Lunch in Split - Very friendly and knowledgeable 'teacher' with a passion for Croatian traditional cookery. Great tour of the green and fish markets before we started cooking. All followed by a super lunch! Would recommend.

Go for AUTHENTIC tour this time! - So completely authentic and real. A wonderful experience to share food sourcing, prepping, and eating in a very small group in a personal apartment living space, and most of all with a funny, engaging and enthusiastic chef! DO NOT MISS THIS!

This is a must do experience! - Tatjana was the best! So personable and knowledgeable and talented! We have been in several ports and this was our favorite excursion!

Deserves more than 5 *********** - This was such a wonderful activity that my daughter and I did in Split. It was the highlight of our time in Split. Tanja was very kind and gracious. It was very neat to learn about the Dalmatian traditions. I enjoyed our time together so much. She is a magnificent cook...the food was outstanding.

Definitely book this cooking class! - Tatjana was awesome! We had such a great time cooking and learning more about Dalmatian food and wine. We had a nice walk through the Green Market and Fish Market, and enjoyed the amazing weather on her patio. Highly recommend!
