Fun times - Dasen was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. It was nice to see the sites later in the evening when it was less crowded. We had a small group, so everyone was able to hear and ask questions as we went along. Loved it.

History from a different perspective, really nice! - Daser took us on a really nice walk explaining the darker history of Split. Our kids 13&14 also found it very interesting! A great way to get to know the city better!

Every city has it's secrets - Dason is very personable and a fabulous guide. This was a different spin on the regular tours of Split & he made it very interesting. We managed to see new parts of the town and learn about the darker or funnier side of it's history. Highly recommend.

Very engaging history lesson - I loved this tour. Dasen is a great guide, and he shared a lot of very interesting stories about Split that brought the city to life. He shared interesting history, but through stories of the darker side of Split. It is not a cheesy ghost tour like you see in many cities, but rather one that focuses on murders, wars, plagues, and seedy activities that shaped the city. If you want a straightforward history of Diocletian's Palace and Split, this isn't the tour for you. If you want to hear about the fascinating lore of the area, this is a great way to get it.

Had a blast with Dasen! - Had an absolutely brilliant trip with Dasen, we had already taken a trip covering general history of split but he as a guide felt like a friend highlighting the fun, gross and interesting stories, laughing with us and recommending cool places to go too! This trip will show you debaucheries of human kind in many different ages, and show you that sometimes even in ancient times, human nature is very silly. 10/10 recommend, Also, the only tour that does not leave you struggling in the intense croatian heat AND gives you a beer.

Dasen – the guy who made me fall for Split - I never thought I’d book a private guide – usually I do my own research and trust my instincts. But then I stumbled on an interview and got curious. So I thought, let’s try. I wrote him a message, half-expecting nothing to come of it. You know – maybe he’d reply tomorrow, or not at all. But nope. He replied right away – clear, kind, spot-on. I knew this was going to be different. And it was. Dasen didn’t just walk me through Split. He unlocked it. We talked ancient stones, secret bars, street legends, ghosts of Diocletian’s palace, and one famously controversial statue. No dry facts – just the heart of the city, told with soul and spark. I came with biases – left in love. With Split. Dasen, please – never stop doing this. And hey – come visit Nova Gorica, Slovenia. We’ve got the last French king buried among roses – no sign, no plaque, just silence. We’ve joined two cities: Nova Gorica in Slovenia and Gorizia in Italy – a unique phenomenon. Different languages, histories, cultures – yet somehow united. It’s beautiful. And a little sad. Because we still don’t know how to tell that story the way you do.
