Highlights

You will see:
-A town full of monuments or museums under UNESCO patronage.
-Starting from the 1940 m long walls with bulwarks, the Stradun, Orlando’s pillar, the gothic renaissance palace of Sponza and the celebrated Rector’s Palace as well as the famous church and monastery.
-Once a part of the Republic of Dubrovnik, there is also the nearby Pelješac peninsula with the 5.5 km long walls of the stone town of Ston. Built on the remains of a Greek colony, the island of Korčula with streets that have a fish bone pattern is a true urban gem and asides from the traditional knight’s game called “Moreška” and is most famous nowadays for being the birth place of Marko Polo.
-In Ston we will try the oysters and mussels, which are considered to be one of the tastiest and finest shell fish in the Adriatic. Besides lamb and veal cooked in embers under an iron bell, this region’s gastronomic chapter consists of eel and frog stew from the Neretva valley.

Day Trip to Dubrovnik - Went on a day trip to Dubrovnik with our lovely guide from Booker Tours, Klaudia. She made us feel very welcome and has lots of lovely stories to tell us about Croatia. She’s an amazing singer too! The local tour in Dubrovnik was informative and very interesting. Mihaila, our guide was very knowledgeable about the local history and culture. The tour was at a good relaxed pace so we were able to enjoy the Old Town sights along the way. I would definitely recommend this tour. I just wish we had a couple of hours more to explore! Book your tour with Booker and your won’t go wrong!

Panoramic Plitvice - As a solo traveller sometimes it’s nice to do a group activity and I would definitely recommend this tour to the beautiful Plitvice Lakes by Booker. Sanje was an excellent tour guide and she was engaging and gave us lots of information throughout the tour and balanced it with time to go at our own pace too. Booker were also very good with communication via the app and WhatsApp.

Good time, but description is inaccurate - We had a great tour guide in Dubrovnik and plenty of time to explore on our own. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the description is wrong—there is no stop in Ston. Otherwise, it was a nice small group tour.

Terrible tour - Horrible tour. We had one guide and one driver who were with us on the 6 hour return trip. They spent the whole time speaking in Croatian and told us nothing in the drive. The one not driving took the opportunity to catch up on his sleep! They cut the tour short by two hours citing a “communication error”. The guide in Debrivnic was of a similar character and would start talking without waiting for the entire group to arrive so unless you were moving fast you missed a lot
