Highlights
  • Krka National Park - After picking you up at one of our meeting points, our excursion to one of the most popular sites in Dalmatia begins by driving along the border between the coast and the hinterland. The stories about the area between Split and UNESCO protected town of Trogir, takes you on a journey through rich history that the region has for more than 3000 years.

Then it’s on to Krka National Park and Skradinski buk, one of the best known natural beauties of Croatia. Our professionally-guided tour includes a fascinating walk through authentically restored ensemble of small stone houses, workshops, exhibits and watermills which show how water used to make village life possible and sustainable centuries ago. Then we’ll begin our walk to enjoy the rich diversity of flora and fauna through a network of forest pathways as well as over wooden bridges.

  • Roski Slap - We proceed to Roški slap, a beautiful, quiet, untouched nature area situated in the upper part of the Krka river canyon, perfect for swimming and relaxation. During the break you will have the opportunity for an optional lunch in a typical Dalmatian konoba (tavern) where you can taste traditional local food like prosciutto, cheese, hearty bread, wine and local fruits and vegetables.
  • Visovac Monastery - Along the way you will enjoy the same kind of breathtaking views that professional photographers capture to illustrate Croatian tourist brochures —like the panorama of Visovac Island, home to a 15th century Franciscan monastery where monks still reside;
  • Sibenik - Then we say good-bye to the park and continue our trip to the seaside city of Šibenik. Situated in picturesque bay where river of Krka empties, Šibenik is a city of rich history, culture and natural beauties. One of the most famous cultural-historical monuments in Šibenik that you can visit in your free time is St James Cathedral -a UNESCO listed unique architectural monument from 15th and 16th century build entirely from stone.

We return to Split along the beautiful coastal road, passing by picturesque villages, such as Primosten and Marina, and beautiful islands.

Gorgeous Park and Delicious Lunch - The walk around the main waterfalls (Skradinski Buk) was an easy and picturesque ~45min loop. En route to Roski Slap, we got a quick stop to photograph the monastery from above. Lunch was incredible, though it's separate from the swimming area, and separate from the views to the Roski Slap waterfalls. Sibenik is also beautiful and worth exploring. It's a long day but there's plenty of opportunity to rest/sleep on the bus. Igor was a great tour guide who provided detailed and interesting context for the various stops.

Krka & Sibenik day trip - We had a fabulous day! Ernest was a great guide! We learned a lot about Croatia and about the national park. This tour provided us with enough time to poke around on our own, both at Krka and in Sibenik. Lunch at Krka was very special and delicious! A long day and so enjoyable!

Friendly tour with excellent views - Great review with friendly tour guides. We opted for the lunch and it was delicious and really worth the extra. Waterfalls are pretty and as we had unexpected rain the guides were kind enough to sort out some ponchos. They were very knowledgeable and chatty about the history of the area and the life of the people. I’m not a huge fan of tours but this was very small and friendly and helped us see the beautiful national park.

ERNEST SUPERSTAR 🤩 TOUR GUIDE 😇 - We had this tour on the 11th of july 2023! 🥰 The National Park Krka was gorgeous! As well as the other places! 🇭🇷 But nothing will be so beautiful and gorgeous if we didn't had a tour guide like Ernest! 🤩 He took care of each and one of us, telling us stories about Croatia and a lot of useful information! 😇 Ernest was positive and had many jokes on our way to the turistic attractions that made the drive fun! 🛺 Our experience wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for him! I will upload some of the gorgeous photos 📸 Hopefully, you will have him as your tour guide as well! We Thank you, Ernest!😇🥰🇭🇷❤️ From Norway 🇳🇴 to Split, Croatia 🇭🇷

Great trip to stunning waterfalls - Fabulous tour to Krka waterfalls. These falls are very attractive and picturesque. There were several waterfalls. The first stop was actually several smaller falls and a larger one all together. A 2Km walk on wooden walk boards took visitor round through lovely countryside and wildlife - loads of colourful dragonflies, frogs, fish and birds. The big falls were stunning. Our guide was Ernest. He was a very funny, talkative character who put across information such as history of Croatia and information about the falls and Sibenik in an amusing but interesting way. Lunch was at the second waterfall where there was also the opportunity to swim. The food was lovely and swim refreshing.

Great day out! - The whole day was brilliant. Our tour guide Ernest was lovely, he made us feel relaxed and informed throughout the full day. The timings for stops were just right, we had plenty of time in each place without having to rush. Each stop was well worth it. This trip was great value for money, would definitely recommend!
