Krka Waterfalls Tour: Wine and Cheese Tasting Experience from Split

Discover Krka Waterfalls, savor local wines and cheeses, and explore Skradin. Join our tour from Split for an unforgettable adventure.

Duration: 8 hours, 15 minutes
Cancellation: 24 hours
Highlights
  • Krka National Park - Join us in embracing the intact beauty of the perfect oasis in the middle of Dalmatia. Our merry group of travelers will set off from Split in an air-conditioned vehicle with available Wi-Fi. The ride is 1h 30mins but you’ll wish it was longer because we’ll use this time to tell the tales of our audacious history.

After skipping the line and stepping into the park, you’ll be overwhelmed by the sensation that you’re exactly where you should be - surrounded by the impossible green and the crystal clear blue scenery.

Swimming inside the park is prohibited since it would disrupt the perfect harmony of the ecosystem but worry not, we’ll make sure that you get a swim in Krka later on.

  • Skradinski Buk Waterfall - We’ll walk through the charming wooden pathways along Krka river to the most magnificent of all waterfalls - Skradinski buk. This is were the power banks and memory cards for your devices will prove their moneys’ worth as you’ll never be able to stop taking photos.
  • Sladic Winery - After guiding you through the park we’ll take a short bus ride to the picturesque town of Skradin on the other side of Krka.

In Skradin we’ll visit the Sladić winery, taste micro local wines guided by a master winemaker telling you the educational and inspiring tales of his wines. The wines will be paired with a local cheese & olive oil.

  • Skradin - After our Sladić winery visit, you’ll have an hour more to explore the beauty of Skradin and the finale will be making up for the missed swim in Krka on the beach where the river pours into the Adriatic sea.

Our destination is the most breathtaking waterfall - Skradinski buk.

This is when your device’s storage space becomes crucial as you will be incessantly snapping pictures. To preserve the ecosystem, bathing in the park is prohibited.

Post navigating you through the park, we’ll hop on a short bus journey to the scenic town of Skradin on Krka’s opposite side. Here, we’ll visit the Sladić winery, savour the local micro wines paired with cheese & olive oil, and listen to their stories.

Krka Tour - Guide: Leo was a great guide, funny, knowledgeable, and made sure it was a flawless process. Krka NP and Skradin: The falls were beautiful, I would highly recommend walking around before taking the path through the park. You have plenty of time. The wine tasting was great, coming from someone who does not drink much wine, they were all delicious.

Very beautiful - Loved it the views beautiful. Well worth going and loved the boardwalk thru nature. Our guide gave good information but was very dry and did not engage anyone in conversation. At the end of the day said goodbye with her back to everyone and was the first to get off the bus and never saw her to give her a tip.

A very pleasant outing to Krka - The national park is very picturesque and the board walk very enjoyable. The entry fee was €30 each on top of the tour fee. The wine tasting was enjoyable and the wines pleasant. There is just one variety of local cheese drizzled in olive oil. The wine lubricated conversation with a very pleasant group of American medical students! Tea the tour guide was chatty, informative and kept the coach party on schedule but we didn’t feel rushed.

Accompanied, not guided excursion. Sufficient time at each stop. - Not guided tour so much as accompanied trip. The group was about 45 people and the guide did a good job of keeping us on schedule. Mostly, after a short introduction he set us free to explore at each location (had enough time at each stop), while he waited at the meeting point. The park was lovely but crowded, the waterfalls pretty but not extraordinary. The few of us who had signed up for wine tasting separated from the beachgoers to walk to a restaurant for wine and lunch (lunch not included). Guide’s English was good, but his humor was a little off for this crowd.

A good day - We met our guide who was on time and led us to the coach. The coach was of good quality and the trip was not oversold. He accommodated several different languages and made all feel welcome with his perfectly set balance of humour and facts. The trip itself…the National park falls is lovely but entry was not included in the price. We knew this in advance so was not a surprise. Entry cost atm are 30 euros which is a little heavy but the park is very well maintained but the small selection of eateries and drinks are expensive but it is beautiful. Included is a 25 min boat ride from the park to a small village where you can swim, buy lunch, trinkets, ice creams at reasonable prices. We opted out of the wine tasting option so cannot comment but found the town charming to walk around and take a dip with a couple of hours passing very easily. The coach picked us all up from this town which made for a nice round trip. No complaints, we enjoyed the day. All in
