Very interesting tour!! - We were so close to Bosnia, being in Split, we decided it was worth the trip to go see Mostar. While it’s about a three hour drive, it’s very interesting to see the countryside on the way. Our driver, John, was very fun and friendly. Our guide in Mostar provided great information on the history and culture of the area, especially about the restoration efforts after the war. The wine tasting was brief, but the wines very good! We couldn’t go to “the hill” in Medjugorje because it had rained and it was muddy and slick.

Relaxing and peaceful day - Mostar was pretty and Medjugorje peaceful. Our driver Antonio was fantastic! Our guide Laila in Mostar explained the history of Mostar and walked us over the Bridge, to the Museum and highlighted great spots to take photos.

Thanks to Antonio for being very funny and accommodating - Mostar is a very beautiful, quaint town. Very happy to learn more about it from Leila who was our local guide in Mostar. She is so knowledgeable of the history, brought us in the right spots and have her own story to tell. I would definitely recommend Mostar as a place to go to when in Croatia. I would not miss Medjugorje if I am already around the area. I heard about it as an elementary student attending a Catholic school. Some in our group went up the Apparition Hill, I satisfied myself with visiting the church and buying Medjugorje souvenirs for family members. What made our tour more fun was our van driver/guide, Antonio. He looks intimidating in the beginning but he is accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable and very good communicator. He has lived a very exciting life, too. A Croatian James Bond. Be ready with cash for meals and other purchases. Euro is accepted in all places we have been to. The tour was a very enjoyable day outside Split and definitely worth the experience.

Great tour, too little time! - Great tour with small group! 8 people in a pretty comfortable air conditioned van. About 2 hour drive to Mostar. The country side was interesting. We enjoyed our driver Antonio! We sat in the front with him and he kept us entertained and laughing. Great guy and excellent driver! Loved Mostar, charming place with excellent prices. If you want to bring back gifts for friends this is the place. We stayed in Split in the place walls villa and found the shopping around there very overpriced, especially for jewelry. We bought some handmade beautiful earrings and necklaces in Mostar for very reasonable prices. Save your money for this place. Went to Medjugorje and was very hot 105 degrees (10th of September). I gave this tour 4 stars because they did not give enough time to climb apparition hill. We barely got up there and realized we only had 20min to get back down and get to the meeting point of the van. The climb is very difficult, part of the problem was the heat. You need to be in good shape and take your time as you may have to take rest stops. The rocks are sharp and there are not good places to step so wear a supportive shoe (flip flops will land you in the hospital). I would have rather split the time between the two places cuz there was a little too much free time in Mostar. The guide in Mostar was good (1 hour). There was no guide or info given at Medjugoria. Overall we would go again.

Great experience but time is limited. - I hope the time for Apparition Hill is more. We are only given one hour which is not enough to reach the top of the Apparition Hill. We also missed the mass and only made a visit to the church.

Show saturated restaurant services. - The tour was basically transportation. There was no further explanation. In Mostar only a brief explanation with a local guide.
