Magical day at The Lakes. Don’t miss it! - Mya was a great Tour Guide. Excellent commentary about the region’s history on the drive up from Split. We appreciated her English greatly. Regular and clear communications and reminders through the full day. Sadly one passenger was not accounted for on the return. She was left at the final end of the Park where we took a refreshment break. Mya tried valiantly to call and text her with no response. We hope she has the calm head and resources to make her way back to Split. Despite this sadness at the days end, this place is very special and unique…. Not to be missed. I have booked all 3 tours with Gray Line in my weeks stay in Split. Felt the bus driver was also very good.

Unforgettable Adventure with an Amazing Guide in Croatia's National Park (Lakes & Waterfalls) - Our family had an incredible time at National Park seeing the beautiful lakes and waterfalls! Ivonka, our guide, was absolutely fabulous—funny, insightful, and bursting with energy. Her high spirits made the trip even more enjoyable. She took wonderful pictures of us, capturing beautiful moments at the stunning waterfalls. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommended!

Waterfall - Tour was with Mia, sonya, and pero. The national park was beautiful. The drive is quite far, but worth the trip from split. Enough time to see the highlight, but maybe add a little bit of time for gift shop as well.

Long bus ride from Split but a neat natural area - Cool national park, it's a pretty long ride from Split. Probably still worth going if you like waterfall hikes and may not travel to the area again in the future. The overall hike was about 2.5 miles with some elevation change but nothing too challenging if you're in halfway decent shape, other than perhaps the heat on some days. There is a stop at a restaurant afterwards but that was probably around 3pm for our group so you may want to take a snack suitable for eating on the trail, there was a stop of about 15 minutes partway through, followed immediately by waiting in line about another 15 for a bus to get shuttled across the park. As of June 2024 one trail is closed which prevented us getting close to the largest waterfall, but the upper lakes trail that didn't have closures was very nice.

Place to see - Very beautiful place to visit. Our guide, Mia, is a good organizer, and knew how to educate us about Croatia during the bus ride. On the other hand, we booked through Booking, and the description of the excursion could have been a little more detailed. The visit to the lakes is rather quick. There was no need to plan lunch because we stopped at 3:00 p.m. at a restaurant.
