- Wear casual clothes and comfortable shoes for walking if possible

Plitvice Lakes Tour: It’s a long day, but well worth it! - We had an unforgettable day exploring the stunning Plitvice Lakes with Frank as our guide. Bus is air conditioned and comfortable. The journey included a couple of 20-minute stops both on the way there and back, giving us just enough time to stretch our legs.
The highlight, of course, was walking through the breathtaking national park. The trails were well-maintained, but I can’t stress enough the importance of wearing good shoes and bringing a hat—the walking is extensive, and the sun can be intense.
We also enjoyed a delicious farm-to-table lunch at Vila Velebita, where we savored roasted potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, and a hearty veggie platter. The hour-long lunch break was perfectly timed to recharge before heading back to Split, where we arrived around 7:30 PM.
Frank was knowledgeable and kept the day well-organized, ensuring we got the most out of our time at the lakes. This tour is a must for nature lovers visiting the area!
Protips: Avoid lunch at the park, eat on your way back at Vila Velebita especially if you are a vegetarian! Park entrance fee is only in Euros cash.

A def must go! - Definitely worth the shlep! Don’t be put off by the journey length! Our guide, Frane, was great. Lots of interesting stories and facts. The lakes are simply stunning!

Fun - Park was beautiful. Lots of great history descriptions! Excellent food at the optional restaurant after the tour. Be advised that you will have to pay 40 euro in additional park entry fees. Well worth it.

Beautiful national park - definitely recommend - Amazing day in a beautiful national park. Mario was a great tour guide who showed us all the most beautiful waterfalls efficiently. It was a very cool experience. Despite it being far from Split, I still recommend going because the nature there is so beautiful and the water so bright blue and green.

Great Tour with Mia - Our tour guide was Mia today. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoyed all the incite she had to share during our three hour drive, and was impressed by how efficient she was at getting us through the entire park in a short amount of time. She was very enjoyable to chat with as well.

A great tour with Mia - Our tour guide, Mia, did an excellent job guiding us through Plitvice! She picked a route that allowed us to see both the Upper Lakes and the Lower Lakes. She had good knowledge of the park. Gave us great recommendations for Split.
