  • The Peristyle of Diocletian’s Palace - The central square of the palace, home to Diocletian’s mausoleum—now the Cathedral of St. Domnius—and a 3,500-year-old sphinx that presents a riddle.
  • Vestibulum of Diocletian’s Palace - Here, we will watch a video of the Unsullied battling the Sons of the Harpy, and an a cappella group will perform Dalmatian songs live for us.
  • Temple of Jupiter - Once dedicated to the chief Roman god Jupiter, it is now the baptistery of St. John, guarded at the entrance by a 3,500-year-old headless sphinx.
  • Diocletian Palace Substructures - In these dark dungeons, Daenerys Targaryen kept her dragons chained as she struggled to control them. It was also where slaves hid while planning their rebellion to gain freedom from their masters.

Filled with stunning images and captivating artifacts from the HBO series GAME OF THRONES, this museum immerses fans in the Seven Kingdoms with authentic props, costumes, life-size figures, weapons, city dioramas, sets, and more.

Meereen, the place where Daenerys spent three seasons, where scenes of the fight between slaves and masters (the “kill the masters” scene) were filmed, battles of Grey Worm and the Unsullied against the Sons of the Harpy, the death of Ser Barristan Selmy who saved Grey Worm, the dragons that Daenerys chained and later fed to the evil masters. Who was Emperor Diocletian, the greatest persecutor of Christians, and why did he vomit after dinner? How much did the Venetians pay for Split? Funny and Informative Tour - Excellent tour with Tomi - informative, interesting, and funny! A lot of the tour discussed the history of Diocletian and the palace, which was very interesting. For the GoT parts, Tomi would quiz us on what we think happened at each location before going into detail about the scene and showing us short videos on his phone of the scene in the show.

Excellent! - It was both educational and fun. We saw a lot of fighting GoT scenes in the basements, bloody! Roman history was narrated very clearly, with jokes and riddles, and time flew by. Later, we ate traditional food recommended by the guide. It was an excellent experience.
