Making History Fun Again - Anita was our guide; she was excellent. Our strolls between each of the historic entrances to the old town were peppered with fun facts, engaging stories, compelling commentary and the wisdom of a local’s insight. This 90 minute tour was a terrific way to learn just enough about multiple sites within Split to make us want to revisit and further explore each in more detail. I would’ve learned so much more cool history at school if Anita was my teacher.

Anita is the perfect guide for an informative and fun overview of old town Split - We very much enjoyed the walking tour of The Palace and surroundings under Anita’s leadership. She had a very nice way of weaving together important historical information (about which she clearly has a deep knowledge) with fun facts and humor. We also thought it was sweet that she highlighted some favorite local businesses. Our group was small—just six lovely young footballers from Denmark and us—and Anita was very skilled at keeping as all engaged. Highly recommend the tour under Anita’s expert guidance.

Great guide - exactly the tour we wanted. - 90 minutes which was perfect. Anita, our guide was really knowledgeable, warm & charming. The group was just 6 people so we could ask questions & have conversation - not just trail around.

Day ruined by men dressed as roman soldiers in old town - Beautiful old town, food is expensive. Some places are not very good at all, and some are excellent. Worst thing of all was the Romans soldiers in the old town forcing tourists to have their photographs taken for money. It wouldn't be so bad if they took the photographs but they expected you to take ur own photographs and give them money or buy them beers. They were awful to my wife and young son as they didn't have any cash on them and refused to go looking for a bar to buy them beers. It was almost like robbery. Very disappointing and soured out whole day. Most people were very polite and helpful, especially the younger people. A very beautiful city that is scarred by the awful graffiti everywhere that absolutely ruins the scenery. Such a shame

Disappointing city - Disappointed, hordes of tourists poured out by huge liners, little cared for vegetation, old town without much charm. Prefer Trogir.
