Excellent overview of the Maramures area. I felt more like a resident than a tourist. - Excellent overview of the Maramures areas described. Everything was very personally tailored. I could stop if I saw something interesting, spend time where I would like. I would even do the whole tour again just to spend even more time in Breb, visit Desist during mass hours, same with Sapanta, and walk closer to the tallest wooden church near the Merry Cemetery. My day ended in Barsana so I was able to spend quite a bit of time enjoying the beautiful music of the Christmas mass. An astounding unforgettable day and Radu is just the guide you need to see everything you want to see and learn about where you and and where he is taking. you. I'm glad I was able to fill up my Christmas Day with such an amazing journey though I'm looking forward to more adventures with Radu when the streets are less slushy! I saw much more than I had imagined, and will definitely look Radu up for further adventures.

Brilliant day with a brilliant guide Radu - What a fantastic day with Radu - very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, punctual guide (and a good driver as well!). The tour itself was amazing and the churches and countryside so beautiful. We had a delicious lunch too. Would definitely recommend this tour with Radu, the area of Romania is a must see.

Discovering the delights of Maramures & Bucovina at grassroots (& mud) level! - All the way from New Zealand, I had the most delightful experience trekking with Radu. I totally enjoyed Radu's leadership and friendship. He is such a Natural in this role. He took great care of us in a casual but effective manner. Never got upset with us. Patient. And a great sense of humour. Just a darn good friend to be with. Full of knowledge & resources. Amending our schedule/itinerary to suit the inclement weather. Trying to avoid the mud and the rain. What fun!? We discovered so many intimate moments of the lives of the Romanian country folk. Full of homemade goodness & colour. Quaint & a step back in time. Fascinating, all of it !! Thank you Radu ! The memories will remain with me forever with the help of a million photos !

Trekking in Maramures and Bucovina - I have no hesitation in recommending Radu as a guide to places and activities in Maramures. I have recently been on a group walking tour of both Maramures and Bucovina with Radu as the guide. He is very knowledgeable about the history and the cultures of these areas. He was able to convey this knowledge in an engaging and understandable manner. Radu took great care to ensure our every need was met and always acted promptly on any request we made. First time hiking in Romania - It was my first time ever hiking in Romania with other 2 friends from HK. There are other 3 people from Australia/NZ in my group. Radu is our leader throughout the tour. He has been caring and responsible throughout his job. Also showing us information about sights we’d been. Overall he has been professional in his job and we’re all pleased to have him in this hiking holiday.

Superb experience in N Romania - Radu is very resourceful, friendly and helpful to smooth out our whole trip in accommodating the ever changing weather in the area. We all had a wonderful time to trek and explore the wildness and cultural heritage of N Romania. Highly recommended as the lodges we stayed were tidy n yet dinners were yummy !
