Consider the Resident's! - I lived in weekiwatchee for 10 yrs. Only moved because ins. Got off the wall it cost more than my mortgage. Then the cost to go even to a restaurant was redickulas.so I AM LIVING IN SPRING HILL N NOW I have to pay to launch my boat. N can't even take a tour down the river. I can see charging visitors but a resident pays taxes n should have a free pass. Even if I only launch a kick. THE fun on the water isn't fun any more. Thanks to the greed of the town of weekiwachee. I GUESS weeki wachee isn't fun any more for the resident's. I am going to sell my boat n move. Elsewhere! The reason I lived in weekiwatchee for 15 yrs. it was at one time in my opinion A fun place. Sorry things things turned into greed for our resident's. People that visit n plan on spending money.

Request Chase for an awesome Experience! - Chase was an amazing tour guide. We did not see any Manatee however we had a great time! Chase was knowledgeable about local flowers/plants as well as the local area. It was awesome and although we had never kayaked before; Chase's instruction helped us catch on and it was easy! I highly recommend enjoying this experience!

An incredible trip. Well worth it. - We have an amazing trip with Davis as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to point out things of interest. Best of all we saw multiple pairs of Manatees gliding by us in this beautiful natural habitat. Highly recommend this trip

Weeki Wachee tour - We took family and friends out to do a tour in July. Ashely was our guide and she was very knowledgeable and made our experience enjoyable. She was great at spotting manatees of which we saw a baby and momma manatee feeding which put the cherry on top to our guide. The only drawback was not being able to swim in the spring.

A Disappointing Experience for Weeki Wachee - This was a very disappointing trip. My husband and I met our son and his wife (we were celebrating my daughter in law's birthday) there at Weeki Wachee, and my daughter in law's Mom flew in from Washington State as a surprise also, so she came on the kayaking trip. We went yesterday (Saturday), and we were supposed to start the tour at 3 pm, but we were delayed a little as there was thunder and lightning in the area...no big deal. Our tour guide Vinny immediately told us he was very tired and worn out as the company had him working too much. Vinny lead us on a paddle board and told us 'you wouldn't catch me in one of those kayaks'. Ok! Well, the tour was in a glass bottomed kayak but having the glass bottom on this stretch of water was pointless as it was such a dirty stretch you couldn't see anything in it. I know the Weeki Wachee State Park has a natural spring in it that is clean, but this water was very dirty. There were so many people, dogs, and houses along the side of the water way, it was like going through Kentucky or something. Sorry, but the trip really did not live up to our expectations and we feel like it was very overpriced. We did tip Vinny very generously though. Sorry we will not be back.

I am a heavy set woman and was in a kayak with a friend and our weight together was to much to go together. - Customer service with this company is the worst. Please be perfect little customers and don’t expect a refund if you ask for one
