Absolutely love this place, it was so fun thank you for the experience - My now fiance to me to this amazing place, it was so entertaining and he proposed to me there on stage after the play. Great castle hidden in city - The location was surprising. The castle is beautiful. We learned a lot about the history of the castle. The gentleman (sorry I forgot his name) that guided us was amazing. He made it enjoyable for my 9 year old.

Vacation day in Springfield - Guide was very entertaining. The stories were interesting. We enjoyed and seeing the different rooms.

Ghost of the past - Experience the supernatural realm of spirits. Very interesting tour, lasted 90 minutes. Don’t miss the ballroom and basement which might give you the chance to meet those ghost of the past.

Great value; def recommend - Worthwhile tour; good way to learn about some of the history of the building. Lots of walking, but went fine. Would def recommend.

Great tour - What an enjoyable tour. Our guide was insightful and knowledgeable. We went from the bowels of the castle to the highest point.

Grand cut stone structure with lots of history. - The building construction, cut stone, is incredible. The workmanship is astounding. And it only took two years to complete it. The inside is another story. Needs work and updating while preserving the history. The furniture which is not original is terrible. The history of this place is something else. Lots and lots of photos. The tour guide was good. However, my wife and I had to pay four entry fees. If someone arrives later they pay one. What's up with that?

Just Ok History Tour - The castle is pretty cool and some of its history is interesting. We had a really hard time understanding our guide. It may be because she talked too fast. Overall, just an okay tour

Don't recommend - The host was funny, pleasant, cheerful... Other than that the castle doesn't have anything else to offer. Fake furniture, just a tour for an old building that is not impressive or thrilling at all. There's more mystery in abandoned old houses..

Rude Owner - My husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary every year with a photoshoot. We get 10 mins in a store to pick out clothes and then we have the photoshoot. We were super excited to celebrate this year at this castle, but unfortunately the woman we dealt with made our experience horrible. To start, I spoke with her a couple times on the phone and she wasn't very friendly, but I know some people just are more serious. We had to wait quite awhile to come to the gate to let us in, then we were left alone without any direction. Our photographer started the photos outside and the we went inside to the first floor where the woman said people usually start upstairs and work their way down. Figuring that was a smart move, we started to head to the stairs, she was rude and said since we started here, we needed to finish. We then went to the stairs where she called our outfits low budget and said we were dressed for a wedding. We tried to explain that is the way we dress for our anniversary, but instead of saying we might have had a miscommunication, she called me a liar and that we needed to leave immediately. There are certain ways to handle things and this was not the correct way. If this is the owner, shame on you for treating customers that paid you that way.
